Two different exercises

Exercise 1: 1 against 1
  • Make sure you stand firm
  • Let the ball do the work
  • Practice actions
  • Try to go over the backhand side (as attackers)
  • Close the backhand side (as defenders)
Exercise 2: practising lift pass
  • You slalom between the cones.
  • Trainer calls backhand or forehand
  • You make a lift pass with the backhand or forehand and then finish on goal

drawing
  • Extension of exercise 1 of this training.
  • A passes the ball to B.
  • A moves to the outside to get the ball back there.
  • There is no space there so she accelerates on the pawn back to the middle and gets the ball from B.
  • B must look at what A is doing and judge what is the best moment to pass the ball.
  • Let A do this a number of times and then put in a defender.
  • B must then think about when he wants to pass the ball
  • This may be when A runs to the outside, that he gives the ball when he thinks he can, or that he waits for A to speed up and then gives the ball.
  • B should therefore start thinking and see what the best moment is
  • Set up on both sides

  • 2 attackers defend against 1.
  • A passes the ball back to fellow player B.
  • From then on the 2v1 starts.
  • Tips for the attackers:
    • Play over the backhand side of your opponent.
    • Do not run too much with the ball but continue passing
    • Make eye contact with your team-mate
  • Tips for the defender:
    • Keep the shaft closed
    • Let the attacker make the mistake
    • Stand firmly/actively
  • Later on, add that if the defender has taken the ball away, he can score in a little goalkeeper's box at the side
  • Attackers must then switch.

drawing
  • Exercise in passing the ball cleanly and accepting it correctly.
  • After that rounding off and going through to an action you have made.
  • A pushes the ball to B. (look, aim and hit the forehand of your teammate)
  • B receives the ball. (hands apart, stand actively, feet apart stick to the ground)
  • B pushes the ball to C who receives the ball and takes it with him to the other side.
  • Takes the ball with you (ball on the stick, hands apart, ball slightly in front of you).
  • Lines up the ball and finishes on the goal.
  • D pushes the ball after B has played it to C right away.
  • B has to turn around immediately and pay attention.
  • B receives the ball and makes a lap over the forehand.
  • B flats the ball to E.
  • E receives the ball and gives another flat to the second post.
  • C runs into the ball E gives and changes its direction.

drawing
  • Further practice with half court press.
  • The goal is that they realize what they have to do when the ball is passed.
  • How should we run as a forward.

  • Ball starts at A
  • The 3 defenders position themselves so that the AS is closed and the ball can only be passed to the sides or back out.
  • A passes the ball to B because the AS is closed.
  • Now comes what the whole exercise is about what the 3 defenders should do now
  • V1 shifts so that she is in front of the ball so that the ball cannot be passed straight forwards
  • V2 stands between the person with the ball and the ball line
  • V3 who shoots at attacker C who is giving support there V3 makes sure that C cannot get the ball and defends on the inside, between the opponent and the goal.
  • From here on it is a 3:3
  • At the other end, it is exactly the same and the defenders do the same
drawing
  • A is ready with the ball
  • B comes running towards the ball.
  • A passes the ball to B.
  • B receives the ball
  • A runs on and gets the ball back from B.
  • B takes the ball on the pass.
  • He touches the ball only 2 times.
  • A receives the ball again,
  • B runs in to the deep and gets the ball back from A.
  • A also touches the ball twice, accepts and plays on.
  • B takes the ball in the depth and runs into the circle and rounds the goal.
  • Exercise on 2 sides.
    • If it goes well, put 1 defender in between to put pressure on the ball and if they intercept, they can score in the little goal on their side.

    • Always return the ball

    • Keep the field wide and long
    • Communicate with each other
    • Use the in-out to receive the ball
  • Tips Defenders:
    • Close the gap
    • Close down pass lines to the front
      • Make sure they have to keep playing backwards
    • Communicate with each other
    • Keep them outside the circle (if they enter the circle, the pressure is on the ball)
    • If it is too difficult for the defenders let a tackle back runner join in

drawing
  • A starts with the ball
  • B comes running in the direction of A.
  • A gives a hard angled pass to B, B takes the ball with a lift and moves with it
  • B gives a deep ball to C who is ready to receive the ball and in one go takes it to the back line.
