Korfball drills for technique attack / score
- 1 declarer throws the ball to the person in front of the basket
- he then makes a shot when the ball is caught
- under the basket he then goes inside
- and takes a walkthrough ball
- finally, he takes a short chance
- you can play this like this, for example, who is the first to the 20
- There are 3 posts placed in a triangle, pointing to the centre of the triangle.
- The defenders try to prevent the attacker from scoring.
- Do this until the attacker has scored twice or 1 minute has passed and then turn around.
- 2 posts opposite to each other at about the distance in the game.
- At an angle in front of the post is a trainer/player.
- He/she throws the ball to a player who runs to the other post.
- This player makes a ball, catches it and gives it to the next player.
- The players divide themselves over 4 posts so about 4 or 5 players together.
- 1 shooter in front of the post. 1 passer.
- Possibly with slight defensive pressure.
- Attacker moves left/right, gets the ball played and shoots (+-5 meters).
- When he scores, he earns a point and shoots through, if he misses he must first run to a line behind him at about 5 metres from the place of shooting.
- After this you can continue shooting.
- Switch goals every 3/4 of the time.
- Total 8/9 goals per post. (It depends on whether you play with or without a defender).
We play 4:4, with 3 attackers playing in the service of 1 striker.
- The goal of the exercise is to free the striker in such a way that she will score. This can be done in many ways, but see what her defender's weakness is and play that out.
- You can also take advantage of the attacker's real quality.
- Shooter at 6 yards always free after a breakthrough. Coming from deep after a shot from another.
- Each attacker gets a turn.
As a quieter exercise in between:
- 2-tal shoot under the post until the 11
- then the 11 again and back to 0.
To make it more difficult you can subtract 1 per miss or per time the ball falls to the ground.
By 3 at a basket.
Step 1:
Step 1:
- Player Red defends Player Blue.
- Player Blue has the ball and then throws it to Player White and runs deep and shoots.
Step 2:
- Follow Step 1 and after Player Blue runs deep, Player White rushes in for a giveaway.
- Player Blue goes for a pass through Blue.
- Player Red continues to defend, but allows the through ball.
Take the goal attempts as calmly as possible
Circuit training where one station is rotated through every 2 minutes.
Possibly adjust assignments to number of players.
At each station, shoot from a different spot to score. Per 2-team.
Examples for distances:
Possibly adjust assignments to number of players.
At each station, shoot from a different spot to score. Per 2-team.
Examples for distances:
- 2.5 meters in front of the post.
- 2.5 meters behind the post.
- Distance shot.
- Side shots.
- Top-handed through-balls.
- Underhanded through-balls.
- The players walk from under a basket to the next basket on a whistle, whereby they change function when they miss a through ball or a shot.
- Four players walk to the next basket at the same time.
- Here we look who has scored the following goals first: Pay attention: whistle twice at the dodge ball:
- 1 time at the start of the run (whistle softly) and once to indicate the evasion move (whistle loudly).
- 2 against 3 on 1 basket where when the trio scores, they can keep attacking and the defender changes with two other players when they let a goal through.
- (Trainer always makes a pair and/or trio on the sideline).
- A goal may only be scored by a shot and the goal may not be scored from closer than three metres.
- Set up a square around the basket, in which no shots may be made.
- Play 4 against 4 in which they must perform the above exercise 5 + 6, the defense may not predefend on the support there must be 1 shot allowed.
- After 1 shot 4-0 and again. Change task after 1,5 min.
- Poles in a square.
- Under each pole stands a lady.
- Two gentlemen are going to defend the other two gentlemen.
- The attackers must try to take a through ball on any pole.
- The defenders' task is to make it as difficult as possible for the attackers.
- Goal: Learning to take a walkthrough ball with a defender.
- In a game we are often hindered by the opponent when taking a walkthrough ball.
- But in training you are usually not hindered, hence these exercises.
