Korfball drills
- You will do this task in pairs.
- Use a basket for each pair.
- Put 4 hats around the basket in a square about 1.5 meters from the basket. (the basket is in the middle)
- Stand in between the 2 hats in front of the basket.
- Shoot to score.
- The person under the basket names a colour and you tap on that colour.
- Go back between the 2 hats in front of the basket.
- If you have scored, you don't have to run to a colour.
- Do this until someone has scored 5.
- Players stand in line in front of the basket.
- Player 1 throws the ball to player 2 and player 1 runs after it halfway and inside.
- Player 2 throws the ball at the moment he/she thinks the other player can make a good run through.
- Player 1 finishes it. (and start again at step 1)
- Each player gets his own pipsack.
- They are told an action by the trainer, which they perform.
- This can be touching your head, sitting down and standing up quickly, etcetera.
- As soon as Yes is called (or another action word), the piping bag can be taken.
- Players stand next to each other.
- The ball is thrown to player 2 and player 1 runs after it until halfway and inside.
- Player 2 throws the ball at the moment he/she thinks the other player can make a good run through.
- Player 1 finishes it.
- Make two rows at 10 metres opposite each other and about 3 metres apart.
- The players face each other one by one.
- Face each other with both hands and do not drop the ball.
- Make a series as high as possible in 1 minute.
- Play with the outer hand on the outer hand of your opponent, with one hand throw and catch (right), make a series as high as possible without dropping the ball.
- Play with the outside hand on the outside hand of your opponent, with one hand throw and catch (left), make a series as high as possible without dropping the ball.
- Run into each other, jump and catch and throw the ball in the air with two hands.
- Run into each other, jump and catch and throw the ball with two hands in the jump.
- Shot game in 2 form playing against the other baskets.
- One of the two will shoot, when 2 times they score.
- Call to your coach: Are you the fastest, then you have won and there is exchanged,
- But not yet in possession of a point.
- You earn a point if your partner is also the fastest to score twice.
- So you earn a point if you win twice in a row.
- Variation is possible by means of penalty throws, walkthroughs, number of goals, etc.
- Two numbers:
- Who scores the most laps?
- Number 1 is going to shoot, number 2 is going to catch.
- The number 1 starts in front of the basket and will shoot 1 time on each side of the basket. (front, right, back, left)
- If the number 1 shoots 50% of these 4 chances, he/she may start a new round.
- The number 1 counts how many rounds he/she makes.
- When not 2 of the 4 chances are hit, then there must be changed.
- After 5 to 10 minutes, the player who has made the most rounds is the winner!
- Too difficult:
- Score once per round.
- Variation:
- Start the first round at 2 meter, then at 4, 6, 8 and 10 meter.
- Per pole with 2 or 3 participants you start with 20 balls which are indicated from the space.
- When 20 have been scored you and your pole continue with the next exercise.
- 10 distance shots from the spot.
- Scored?
- Move on to 10 dodge balls.
- Each team has to score these goals.
- Make a kind of tennis court with pawns, where there are 3 squares (the middle square is 'the net', this is about one meter wide).
- In the two outermost squares stands a player.
- The two players take turns with the ball.
- They have to bounce the ball in the middle square, and try to bounce the ball in the other player's square.
- In between they catch the ball, so you are not allowed to tap it!
Training on tight passing.
- 2 players start at about 2 metres from each other You can increase/decrease the distance over time or depending on the variation you do.
- Passes must be hard!
- Make sure that you don't throw hard just for the sake of throwing hard, but that you throw hard to get the ball to the team-mate quickly and tightly.
- Keep reminding them of this constantly.
- Passes should also be tight.
- No "piss bows". These passes are slow and easy to intercept.
- When catching with one hand, make sure you move with the hand and if necessary step with the corresponding leg
Variation 1
- Player 1 passes with his right hand to player 2's left hand.
- Player 2 takes over and passes right back to player 1.
- After one minute both players change their throwing and catching hand.
- Repeat this at larger and larger distances.
Variant 2
- Player 1 passes right to player 2's left hand.
- Player 2 passes back with his left hand to the right hand of player 1.
- After one minute both players change their throwing and catching hand.
- Repeat this at larger and larger distances.
Variant 3 - with movement left-right
- Player 1 has the ball.
- Player 2 moves to the left or right.
- Player 1 passes to outside hand of player 2.
- Player 2 passes back with his outside hand.
- After one minute, the players change positions. (Player 1 moves left/right. Player 2 passes to).
- Repeat at increasing distances.
Variant 4 - deep line
- Player 1 has the ball.
- Player 2 moves towards player 1 from the side.
- Player 2 puts his foot across and runs a deep line away from player 1.
- Player 1 passes with a small arc (but still tight!) to player 2.
- After one minute the players change function (player 1 starts running, player 2 passes to him).
- Players run/dribble around a set square. (poles/pawns, sufficient distance from each other).
- Players are given a list of commands in advance, with a corresponding number.
- The trainer calls out a number randomly, players carry out the assignment.
- You can adjust the number of missions and the missions themselves.
- Example of assignments.
- Tapping the ground.
- Jump in the air.
- Sprint to the next pole.
- 1 burpee.
- Backwards as if you are defending until the next pole/pawn.
