Soccer drills for

kicking-the-ball

Field setup:

4 x 4 pawns in a rectangle arrangement.

How to play:

Each player sprints from the square of cones to the square of cones on the other side. Once there, they head the ball in the opposite direction (either with the inside or outside foot).

Now they sprint to the other side again to send the ball in the other direction in that square as well with a cutting movement.

Rules of play:

  • The ball is not allowed to go outside the square of pawns.
  • You have to sprint back and forth twice before the next player can play.

inside-and-outside-pinging

Field position:

Line up 8 to 10 pawns in 2 rows next to each other.

How to play:

Each player tries to slalom through the cones. This must be done by hitting the ball with the inside and the outside of your football boot.

Variations:

  • First, make sure the move is done with the inside and with the outside of the foot.
  • Play a game between 2 players: who is the fastest.
  • To also learn to turn quickly, take the same route back along the cones at the end.
  • The defenders (formation 1-2-2) try to prevent the attackers from scoring, by making the space as small as possible and conquering or blocking the ball at all costs.
  • The defenders help each other by keeping the distance between them as small as possible.
  • The attackers (formation 4-2) try to make the field as large as possible in order to score a goal
  • After conquering the ball, the defenders can try to score in a small goal
  • The attackers can score in a big goal with a goalkeeper
  • When the ball goes out of the field, it is kicked back in where it went out.

6-against-4-play-off
  • Building to create opportunities, scoring goals
  • Make the space to play as large as possible - width - depth
  • Think deep and play deep if possible
  • Keep the ball
  • Principle: Width play serves as preparation / introduction / depth pass
  • Optimal field utilization

6-against-6

  • In a rectangle with a central strip, the players are divided into 2 groups facing each other.
  • The exercise starts with 1 player with a jacket in the middle strip. This is the defender.
  • Players must cross with the ball, the defender must take the ball and play it off the field.
    • the defender shall remain only on the central strip
  • If a player loses the ball, they will also put on a jacket and help the defender.
  • Attackers thus keep running back and forth until there is one attacker left.
  • This is the winner.

cardio-dribble-cutting-heading

This exercise can be used for each category in the warm-up.

  • Both players A lead the ball to the middle pawn where they perform a cutting move and then play the ball to the next player.
  • After the pass, the player walks diagonally to player B who throws in the ball on which player A heads the ball in.
  • The heading player then takes the ball and stands behind goal,
  • The other player joins the group that has to perform the movement

In King Football, the players learn to pass well.

  • 2 teams
  • Per team 1 King
  • 1 ball per team. (variation 1 ball if a game is played)
  • The teams move in the field in a square.
  • The intention is that the ball is played over 3 times within your own team and then shot to the King.
  • When the King takes it, there is a point for that team.
  • First, they practise within the team and then they play against each other.
  • When the ball is taken away, it has to be counted again.

  • Player 1 and Player 2 start dribbling at the same time.
  • At the end they pass through pawns to the other side.
  • The next player receives the ball and starts dribbling.
drawing Dribble & Pass
  • Player 1 passes the ball to player 2.
  • Player 2 dribbles along the pylons, passes at the end to player 3.
  • Player 3 bounces the ball back to player 2, player 2 finishes.
  • Player 3 fetches the ball,
  • Runs over to stand on the spot of Player 1
  • Player 1 to Player 2,
  • Player 2 to Player 3.
drawing Senior: Pass, dribble, pass, bounce back, finishing
  • Player 1 does exercises on the ladder
  • At the end of the ladder is a ball
  • With the ball he dribbles along pylons that are wide spread (conditioning)
  • At the last pylon he shoots at a small goal
  • Get your own ball, shoot back to the end of the ladder
  • If player 1 is at the end of the ladder, player 2 can begin
drawing Senior: ladder + dribbling + shooting / passing
  • Player 1 starts dribbling along 5 hats
  • Then plays player 2 who waits by hat
  • Player 2 bounces the ball back on player 1
  • Player 1 finishes.
  • Player 2 fetches ball and joins the back of the line
  • Player 1 runs to the pylon to bounce the ball back
drawing Dribbling & shooting - kids
  • Dribble in large square
  • Make small squares on the outside corners
  • Name the small squares
  • When calling the name, everyone must dribble to that square
  • Eventually you can work with a knockout system, so that the last 2 get eliminated.
