Volleyball drills for technique condition
Place 1 or 2 ladders in a row, to create an exercise on length.
Perform a number of variations, starting with easy exercises and slowly working your way up to more difficult ones. Continuously ending with a 10 meter sprint
- Start simple, with 2 feet continuously in the ladder.
- Short quick movements
- Next,
- 1 foot outside ladder,
- 2 feet inside ladder,
- 1 foot outside the ladder.
- hopscotch,
- 1st box: only left foot.
- 2nd compartment: both feet.
- 3rd box: right foot.
- etc
- jump off your left foot, onto the left side of the ladder.
- --> to the other side of the ladder, landing on your right foot (one square further).
- Jump to the end in a slalom fashion.
- Stand horizontally with your hands in the ladder.
- And go sideways through the ladder, hands together continuously in one compartment.
- Do it again, but with a push-up between the different squares.
- Lateral knee lifts through the ladder
- Place a pawn/stack of hats in every odd ladder square, which must be jumped over.
- Continuous jumping, using both feet (arms in the air)
- Place four coloured pawns around a player.
- Make sure these pawns are about one meter away from the player.
- A player with a ball is standing outside the circle.
- He calls out different colours, which the player in the circle has to touch.
- When the player with the ball calls 'BAL', the player gets an attack to defend.
- Leg swing 20x forward left and right
- Leg swing 20x sideways left and right
- Lunge with twist: Big step forward, good to the ground, and rotate trunk to left and right 20x
- Plank: 30 sec
- Side plank: both 30 sec
- 15 sit-ups both sides
- 15 push-ups
- 10 burpees
- Stomp, slowly build up to 100% and loose to sprint
- All team members line up and run in circles around the room.
- Every time the trainer blows the whistle, the person in the back must run forward.
- This continues until everyone has run forward once.
- For fitness this is a good exercise:
- The group has to line up and you let them start dribbling slowly.
- As soon as the trainer blows the whistle, the last one in line should run forward.
- Do this until everyone has run and then let them finish the circle.
The game is played with at least 4 players
- 1 mouse who has a t-shirt or piece of cloth in the back of his trousers
- 1 dog who has a tennis ball
- 2 cats without attribute
- the mouse runs around with the dog,
- the cats try to grab the tail of the mouse and bring it to their cone
- But the dog can tap the cat with the tennis ball and it will do a punishment of its choice in the camp.
- If there are more players a group can be created and 2 games can be played together.
- The entire group is lined up behind a line on the side of the field.
- On signal they walk over to the other side.
- Variation Starting Positions:
- Squat,
- knee,
- prone or supine,
- sit with the back to the walking direction.
- The group is lined up on the short side of the field in a few relays.
- On a sign, they all walk to the other side at the same time and sit back to back in a random order.
- Which group sits first?
- Variation
- Varying the starting and finishing poses.
- At the other side touch a line, return and sit in a row again.
- From the group, a scapegoat is appointed.
- The game is played all over the field.
- The group is lined up on one side of the field.
- On sign the children cross the field.
- One of the catchers tries to catch as many children crossing the road as possible.
- Variation
- The children walk to and fro on a signal.
- Back and forth without waiting for a signal.
- The children are not free on the other side.
- With two tappers.
- With boxes where there is one ticker in each box.
- The children can be tagged in every cell.
- Who has not been tagged on the way out and on the way back?
- Or which group of tickers has managed to tick the most children?
- The group stands on one side behind these hoops.
- When told to do so, the children steal objects from the other side and place them in the hoops on their own side.
- If they are caught by a ticker, they have to put the object back.
- The group is lined up in the four corners of the field.
- A ticker with a party ribbon
- At a signal they cross the field in three directions:
- the short side, the long side or diagonally.
- On their return, they score one, two or three points respectively.
- A ticker operates in the room and forces the ticked children to go back to his corner before he can cross again.
- How many points can you get in an agreed time?
- 3 players at the net with a ball.
- The rest of the players start at the first post.
- The first ball is thrown short, second ball long and third ball short.
- The player passes the ball back and moves sideways to the next one.
