Side b: 3 persons - position 1 - 6 - 5

  • Person on position 1 succeeds on
  • Reception, pass, attack: REQUIRED DIAGONAL
  • Play out until someone makes point

Then, Diede plays a freeball from each side.

Turn over position after 3 hits on each side

Intent:

  • Rallies
  • Go for every ball
  • At 'easy' ball that falls, everyone pumps 10x
  • Players A and B stand in the backfield about 3-4 m apart.
  • T hits a ball to A or B
  • Player who receives the ball passes to the net at the height of the other player
  • The other player comes in and gives a set up on the 3 m line
  • Passer attacks towards the defenders
  • Defender passes the ball to pos 2/3
  • other defender comes running in and catches the defended ball and puts it in the basket at T
  • Reserve defender takes the place of the defender who caught the ball
  • Variant`;
  • defenders perform the same task as team A: set up 3 m line - attack, play out rally

The field is divided in 4 equal fields

  • per field 2 players
  • ball is thrown OH over the net
  • the other players do a correct OH ball recovery by playing it to the basket, the player who is not on the ball runs to the basket and takes the bra.
  • the easy version ends here

You can make this exercise more difficult by playing in one time.

drawing Cotrole OH for setup to passeur
  1. serves
  2. passes
  3. gives set up
  4. attacks
  5. blocks

If the ball doesn't come right and you can't hit it, you play overhand into a hoop

drawing exercise for 5
  • Thick mat against the net
  • Batting from one side of the net
  • Block defense on the ball coming from the mat
  • Defense on the short ball which comes over the mat
    • Short ball is processed into pass, setup, jump ball back

Emphasis is on technique OH, so start with throwing the ball, if this goes well you can switch to key, attack or serve.

  1. R1 throws the ball over to R2
  2. R2 passes OH the ball to P2 (can be placed on a mat, where he/she is not allowed to get off) (comes into BH position)
  3. P2 passes BH to A2
  4. A2 passes to R1
  5. R1 passes OH the ball to P1 (may be placed on a mat, which he/she is not allowed to leave) (enters BH position)
  6. P1 passes BH to A1
  7. A1 plays to R2
  8. ....

drawing OH control reception

Exercise to control the reception movement:

per 2 players a ball + hoop

  1. player A throws the ball in arc to player B with hoop
  2. Player B tries to estimate where the ball will fall by putting down the hoop.

Points of attention:

  1. Correct reception position
  2. sinking through the knees

You can extend the exercise by playing reception with the hoop leaning on the ground.

    • Setter
    • Attacker

    • Jump ball diagonally (extra player at left back)
    • Prick-ball/shot straight through deep back (extra player at right back)
    • Attack through the middle
    • Attack over left
  • A serves to B.
  • B passes the ball to the playmaker, who then plays a high ball into the backfield.
  • B defends this ball back to the playmaker, who then catches the ball.

  • A takes B's place and becomes B's reserve. The playmaker remains standing.
  • The offside attackers use the left half of the field with one playmaker.
  • The middle attackers and diagonal attackers use the right half with another playmaker.

Extension:

  • B can attack instead of catching.
  • B instead of long ball passing, short ball surfacing.
