Volleyball drills for technique setting / overarm technique
- A and B are facing each other and both have a ball.
- One of these two balls they use to pass overhead.
- The other ball they throw straight back and forth at the same time.
- At the moment A plays one ball overhand, B throws the other ball towards A and vice versa.
- You can also do this in a triangle.
- Row of players on each side of the net (max 3 people)
- 1st ball keys and then the
- 2nd ball bra over the net.
- You then tap the middle line/pion and join the back of the row again.
- The same but then play underhand straight up, the next player catches and throws again.
- The trainer throws the ball from one side of the net onto the net edge.
- From the other side of the net, the player must try to play the ball overhand into the hoop.
- Catch up!
- Play in pairs, overhand and underhand.
- Start with 1 play for yourself.
- You are going to do this exercise in pairs.
- Number 1 is at the net and number 2 in the field.
- You start with both playing overhand, then only the player at the net can play overhand and the player in the field can play underhand.
- And the other way round.
- Line up and play the thrown ball into the basket.
- Get further and further away
- Just replay in 4-player teams. Throw the ball at the net and the other player plays over the net.

- Trainer hits on row MA.
- A pass is made to SV at 2,5.
- Playing set up in basket.
- Player under the basket to make a catch.
Line up behind the back line. Trainer throws a ball (high) into the field from the opposite field.
1. Ball must be caught with arms extended above head.
2. Extend to catching with arms stretched above head + standing still while catching3
. Extend to catching with arms stretched above head + standing still while catching + feet in right direction4
. Extend to playing BH on the basket / catcher on the distributor spot
5. Extend to playing BH + attacking (still coming from a row, but now with 1 game already in the field)
- Make up pairs.
- Stand opposite each other, not too far apart.
- Pass the ball overhead to each other.
- While continuing to pass to each other, increase the distance between them by taking a step backwards.
- Continue to pass the ball to each other at the correct distance
- When you have reached a large distance, reduce the distance again
- Make up pairs.
- Stand opposite each other, not too far apart.

- While continuing to pass to each other, increase the distance between them by taking a step backwards.
- Continue to pass the ball to each other at the correct distance
