Suitable for the following techniques:
passing
Passing with multiple balls
Setup
Players stand opposite each other in two lines, facing each other.
Execution
From the ready position, pass the ball to the player diagonally opposite you.
The receiver catches the ball and passes it to the next player diagonally opposite them.
Repeat this until the last player in the line has the ball and passes it to the player directly opposite them.
Then start again.
Variation
After a few successful rounds with one ball, the coach adds a second ball to the drill.
Depending on the number of players, a third or fourth ball can be added.
Tips
All players remain in the ready position with both feet on the ground.
Only rotate the torso to pass or catch the ball.
Only pass when there is eye contact.
Ensure passes are given correctly and not as a 'banana pass'.
Follow the ball with your hands when passing and return to the correct position to receive the ball.
