General game situation: passing point in front and behind the setter
Explanation
The ball is served by the server, who then enters the court to defend.
Player 2 or 3 passes the ball to player 1 (setter), who moves from the backcourt to the net.
The setter provides a set-up to position 2/4 or to the player in position 3.
The two blockers and the server defend the ball, and the rally is played out.
Execution
Balls over the net can be played from a standing position or a jump.
Balls can be played overhead, tipped with one hand, or hit.
Variations
If the serve is too difficult, the ball can be thrown in instead of served.
If the serve is too difficult, the second ball can be caught, tossed up for oneself, and then played on.
