Soccer drills for technique passing

  • Players stand in a circle
  • Players pass the ball around
  • 2 attackers try to intercept the ball

  • Blue passes to red and runs to the striker.
  • Red passes to the striker.

  • Orange passes the ball to player white, who comes to ask for the ball.

  • Orange passes the ball to blue, who comes to ask for the ball.
  • Blue passes the ball to white, who comes to ask for the ball.
  • White passes the ball to red, who comes to ask for the ball.
  • Red turns open and dribbles through the jars, then connects back.
Variations:
  • ball acquisition with left, pass with right or vice versa

  • Blue passes the ball to red and joins red
  • Red passes the ball back to blue and jumps over the fences and then joins blue

Variation:
  • players pass the ball low
  • players pass the ball high
drawing Warming up
Duration: +-15 min
Distance: Red square 16 meters wide 15 meters long.
Blue pawn back line, center then 5 meters inward and 5 meters further the white pawn.

Explanation:
  • B asks for ball by Active defender off balance and sprint to blue hat.
  • A plays B in, B plays C in with active defender in back, C plays D in. D lays wide and C rounds.
  • Has the active defender taken the ball away he may score.
  • The player who lost the ball must try to win it back from the defender.
  • So the exercise is over when either player has scored.
  • Passing A becomes defender- defender becomes B- B becomes C- C becomes D and D closes in behind.
  1. Start by assuming and playing first so B has to deal with player in back.
  2. Then put on the active defenders places the regular defenders and make it a game.
  3. Whoever scores the most goals in 5 minutes wins.
  4. Note then the defenders remain standing A-B-C-D.

Coach moments:
Correct speed play the ball so your teammate can act on it immediately.
Position B is important to shield the ball immediately during takeovers.

    • B drops ball on C
    • C plays into D

    • Tight balls by hitting the ball in heart body slightly over the ball
