Execution
  • 2 to 3 players in the left backcourt (can also be another position) practice shots.
  • The remaining players collect balls, and one player continuously passes the balls.
  • Shooting from the left backcourt one after another.
  • The player who scores 10 times first, wins.
  • After a shot, the player must run backwards to their position.
Variations
  • Different approaches (for example, slightly inward or outward).
  • Different shots (underarm throw, wrist throw, on the move, and so on).

Execution
  • The players throw at the goal from the dotted line.
  • The goalkeeper tries to stop the balls.

  • The first to reach 21 points is the winner.
Execution
  • The left backcourt player passes the ball with a bounce to the wing player.
  • The wing player returns the ball to the left backcourt player.

  • The wing player passes the ball to the right backcourt player and waits briefly.

Description

  • This game can be played as a final game, during training, or as a warm-up. It is appealing because it can be easily differentiated and changed.

Execution

  • Two teams are formed in an area of approximately 10 by 10 metres. One team starts with the ball and tries to pass it 10 times to a teammate.
  • The other team tries to intercept the ball and then also pass it 10 times.

Variations

  • Make the field larger or smaller.
  • Use a different way of passing, such as mandatory bouncing or through the air.

Build-up
  • Two backcourt players pass the ball calmly to each other.
  • With each pass, forward threat is created.
  • The defender maintains a correct defensive posture.
Execution
  • Stepping out and inserting: slide sideways or move sideways.
  • Variation: The trainer gives a visual signal, after which the attacker plays one-on-one and finishes on goal.
Setup
  • Form pairs. Both players start on the back line.
Execution
  • The first player sprints to the centre line and back.
  • Meanwhile, the second player performs an exercise, such as:
    • Sitting against the wall
    • Planking
    • Squats
  • Switch roles once the first player has finished sprinting.
  • Repeat several times with the same exercise.
Formation
  • Divide the team into two corners. A pair starts with defending.
Execution
  • The first pair passes the ball to the goalkeeper and runs a half fast break.
  • The pair receives the ball from the goalkeeper just before the halfway line.
  • Play out the two-against-two.
  • After completion, the next pair starts from the corner and runs a half fast break.
  • Simultaneously, the attackers from just now run to the halfway line and become defenders.
  • The goalkeeper retrieves the ball as quickly as possible and passes it to the new attackers.
Execution
  • Run around the entire field.
  • At 1 whistle: touch the ground with one hand.
  • At 2 whistles: touch the ground with both hands.
  • At 3 whistles: jump into the air.
  • At 4 whistles: turn around and run in the opposite direction.
Introduction
  • Exercises with mats in pairs of 2, using 1 ball.
Foot Touch Game
  • The player with the ball tries to touch the mat with their foot. The other player tries to prevent this with their body. The defender keeps their hands on their back. Each pair plays for 2 times 1 minute, then switch roles.
Pushing Exercise
  • Both players sit on their knees on the mat. Try to push each other off the mat. If someone is pushed off the mat, start again.
Ball Snatch Game
  • Both players on their knees on the mat. One player holds the ball, the other player tries to snatch the ball away.
Ball Rolling
  • The ball lies on the mat. Both players place their hands on the edge of the mat and roll the ball to each other.
  • Same as before, but after contact with the ball, stand further away, so that you have walked completely around the mat.
Ball Between the Heads
  • The ball is placed between the heads of the players. Move around the entire mat on your hands.
Execution
  • Green passes to player 2, then to player 1, and back to player 2.
  • Player 2 shoots at the goal.
Variations for the Goalkeeper
  • At the hands
  • Top corner left/right
  • Shoulder height left/right
  • Knee height left/right
  • Bouncing balls left/right
  • Low balls left/right
Execution
  • In pairs, bring the ball to the other side and score.
  • The red team brings the ball to the other side and attempts to score.
  • Pairs start from the back line.
  • At the moment the red team attempts a goal, the green team may start to score a breakout on the other side.
  • The red team then defends back.
  • Once the green team has attempted a goal, they must return to defend against the other two red players.
  • These red players start at the moment the green team attempts a goal.
  • The exercise can continue in a flow form, as players keep returning to their own side.
Variation
  • Without bouncing.
  • You do not start with the ball yourself, but throw the ball to the goalkeeper who must initiate the breakout.
  • The goalkeeper must first try to stop the ball and then immediately throw a breakout.
