Korfball drills for technique passing / attack

  • Players stand in a large circle.
  • The ball must always be passed to the neighbor.
  • The direction of passing can be clockwise or counterclockwise.
  • More and more balls are added.
  • When the ball hits the ground, players must walk to the edge of the field and back again before being allowed to continue.
  • The ball must be thrown with the left hand to the left and with the right hand to the right.
  • If it is too easy, one-handed catching is possible if necessary.
drawing Warming up - passing
Setup:
  • Player 2 stands with the ball behind player 1 at 6 meters in front of the basket.
  • Player 2 throws the ball over player 1 into space.
  • Player 1 grabs the ball, now player 2 must move to the side of player 1 to receive the pass.
  • Player 1 advances further toward the basket to score.
Players must be able to judge where best to offer themselves in order to receive the pass.
drawing Offering side
  • One player starts under the basket with a ball.
  • The rest of the team stands around the basket at shot distance.
  • The playmaker throws to someone, who tries to score.
  • The playmaker catches/ fetches the ball.
  • If scored, the scoring person becomes the playmaker.
  • After each shot, another random player gets the ball and tries to score.
  • 1 player has the ball and the rest stand in a long line about 3 meters away.
  • The red player runs past the row of blue players.
  • The blue players must make sure that the red player gets the ball thrown into the run.
  • The red player passes the ball one player at a time so that all players in the row have had their turn.
  • When the red player has passed the whole row, he/she changes with the first blue player.
drawing Row throwing and catching
  • The first ball is played deep from the front pocket.
  • Then the other front comes in and passes the ball.
  • The first passer runs over the block to the catch.
  • The back player runs on the ball side for a through ball to the post.
  • Alternatively, the ball is passed directly back for the distance shot.
  • The player under the post steps out as soon as the rebound is taken over from the front and ensures that the player with the ball has two points of attack.
drawing Rebound from the front over a block
  • Make 3-talks, 1 of which is a defender, the other 2 will throw up with each other.
  • The 2-team stands about 4 meters apart.
  • 1 of the 2 has a defender in front of it.
  • Important to throw well into the hands. To do this properly, one steps past the defender and throws a tight ball toward the other.
  • Do this 5 times without the ball falling to the ground, then spin.
Lines game (10 min)
  • Not in time = score on the basket and then back again
  • Shooting sitting down or on your knees (10 min)
  • Parkourt game (15 min)
  • Beginning hopscotch slalom
  • Kick
  • Through the hoop
  • Skate jumps from left to right
  • Score a goal
    • If you score step back at flaps (10 min)
  • Throw over to the other side (5 min)
    • Ball may not fall then play again
  • Play 2 separate games or 1 to see how many children there are (15 min)
  • Player 1 is the declarer, player 2 is the outlier.
  • Player 1 stands with the ball under the post.
  • Player 2 first makes a dodge ball to the left or right.
  • Player 2 gets played the ball and takes over on the other hand.
  • Then player 2 throws the ball back to player 1.
  • Player 2 then makes another dodge ball and shoots the ball.
  • Players first try to score 5 times from the left and 5 times from the right.
Throw and catch in a little train.
  • Duration: 15 minutes.
  • Distance between each other about 5 meters and expand this if necessary. You run after your ball.
  1. Everything with 2 hands.
  2. Everything with the right.
  3. Everything with the left.
Variant: run with pawns from left to right and get the ball back.
  • Make a 2-team and stand about 3 meters apart.
  • Start the exercise with 2 hands, then throw with 1 hand and finish by throwing with the "wrong hand.
  • When the throwing and catching is going well, the trainer names a number that the players must achieve.
    • This number must be achieved without the ball hitting the ground. If the ball does hit the ground, 1 point is deducted.
  • At the moment that one pair has reached this number, they may increase the throw distance by 1 meter. Everyone starts counting from 0 again.
  • We do this up to 5 meters, so that the ball can still be thrown without falling.
  • Each player is given a number, 1 through X.
  • You all walk into a box cordoned off with 4 hats.
  • 1 throws to 2, 2 to 3, X to 1.
  • Initially with 2 balls, expand with left and right, throw one hand or add extra ball.
  • Keep moving well together and do not stand still.
  • Possibly count how many passes succeed without the ball touching the ground and set a goal for that.
Players are in pairs at a basket.
  1. 1 person starts in front of the basket
  2. 1 person starts under the basket
Two pawns diagonally in front of the basket.
  1. The attacker gets the ball at one of the pawns.
  2. The attacker picks up the ball with the outside hand.
  3. The attacker runs after it for a through ball.
  4. The attacker goes back outside to the other pawn.
Extend to shot, left and right.
At e.g. 5 goals call yes and then switch
Pace and ball handling slowly up, throw left and right, rounding can also be done with variations.
