Soccerexercises for u16
Organization
- Four players red + goalkeeper at a goal
- Four players blue + goalkeeper at a goal
- Trainer stands at the side of the field (with the balls)
Situation 1
- Trainer plays the ball to player 1 of team red
- Player 1 of team red and player 1 of team blue fight a 1 vs. 1 duel
Situation 2
- In this situation red has scored, that means that a blue player comes in.
- If blue steals the ball and scores, then a red player is added.
- In this case you create a 2 on 1 situation
Situation 3
- Blue managed to score in the previous situation, which means that a red player joins...
- You thereby create a 2 vs. 2 situation
Points of attention and rules
- Watch the numbers, 4 against 1 is no fun. Keep it challenging and keep the numbers at +1 at the most
- When the ball goes out, it starts with the trainer. The ball then goes to the person who is entitled to it.
- Next to it a player comes in (for a quick run through)
- Decide, as trainer, of which color a player must be added: logically this would be the team with the ball (but let it depend on the numbers).
- Continue to play until a 4 vs 4 situation has arisen.
Coach accents
- Passing to the front
- Depth in the game (think deep, run deep and play deep)
- Speed up your attack
- Make the field big (width and depth)
- Play a man off more by letting the defender choose
- Put down as on picture
- Groups with at least 3 people
- Put pawns as shown
- 7 players minimum
- 1x turn out
- 1 x handball
- 2 x long pass
- Make a good pass with receival
- Turn your body along with the pass
- The game starts with number 6 kicking to goalkeeper
- Goalkeeper then plays directly to 2 or 4
- As soon as 2 or 4 are played, the green team starts pressing and tries to prevent the deep pass
- The red team can "score" by making a deep pass to number 6, who is allowed to move all over the place in his zone.
- The green team can score in the big goal
Explanation:
- Square is the playing field, marked out with pawns
- Horizontal dotted lines represent mini-gallies
- 2 teams of 3 to 4 players: set out several squares next to each other (also possible with 2 per team, but it is more fun with 2 or 4)
- Set out 4 gates of pawns
- Keep the playing field small so that you can act quickly.
Aim of the game:
- Blue plays a tight ball to red
- Red has to dribble through at least 2 gates and can score in 1 of the 2 goals.
- The ball can be taken away so that blue can also score
- When the ball is out both players join the back of the other row and the next 1v1 starts
Variations:
- When blue takes the ball he must dribble through at least 1 gate to be allowed to score
- same if ball is taken away again
- Red must dribble through 3 or even all 4 gates
- In 2 teams, the team that scores the most, wins.
- Make sure teammates do not bump into each other
- Everyone for himself
- The one with the most points after a certain time or with a certain number of points wins
Focus points:
- Good and tight 1st pass
- Good take off from red:
- forwards or sideways
- But do not deadlock it because you need to act quickly
- The man who passes the ball must apply pressure immediately so that this happens
- The ball must always be in motion and may not lie still
- Place pawns as shown on the picture.
- Two next to each other for speed
- Player A makes a running action to the pawn
- Player B plays the ball in and runs to the next pawn
- Player C makes a running action into the depth
- Player B gives the ball deep into the corner
- Player C (now on the backline) passes the ball to the pawn
- Player A runs to the first post & Player D runs to the second post and tries to finish.
The situation can be set up at both ends.
- Two small goals against each other.
- Two players stand at center spot and under goal.
- Players on side dribble to square and pass to opposite player.
- Players do this simultaneously.
- Passed player (under goal and at centre spot) takes over and immediately tries to score on small goal.
- Passed player immediately engages in a duel to defend.
- Passed player goes to receiver. (Underneath the goal and on the centre spot)
- Player who tried to score gets back in line.
2 rows of cones. Pawns about 5 meters apart. 6 to 8 cones
- Walk straight ahead
- Dribble and extend hip outwards
- Dribble and extend hip inwards
- Straight ahead and, at each pawn, shuffle sideways to the player on the other side and around each other
- Straight ahead and at each pawn shuffle sideways to player on the other side and shoulder shuffle
- Accelerate 2 pawns, and 1 pawn backwards. Then speed up 2 pawns again.
Block of Force
- Walk firmly from one side to the other (75 to 80%)
- Running jumps
- Walk and change direction
Organization :
- Set out a 6-corner (see diagram)
- 2 goals (small one without goalie, other one with goalie) 8 handball players (red), 2 teams of 6 players (depending on the people present)
Explanation :
- We play a game 6 vs 6 +1 neutral player if there are an odd number of players.
- 8 players each on 1 side along the hexagon
- Handball maximum 1 time, no passing to each other, only to the players in the central area.
- When the ball is out, trainer lets play resume somewhere in the game, can also be to goalkeepers,...
Coaching :
- Let the form do its work
- Quick changeover
- Make your own choices about the rules of play applied, according to the objective (e.g. oblige to have been on the 2 sides, so turn over, maximum 2 times in neutral shape,...)
