Volleyballexercises for technique attack / smash / spike / hitting
- Trainer with ball
- 3 (or 4) players without ball with sight of ball
- T hits ball
- From then on players may split up in the field.
- T raises ball in field and it is played out
- Next group idem
- Everyone does everything, so for example NOT only attack
- Miscellaneous: prepare mats or goals as targets.
Organization:
- Make trios
- Two players stand opposite each other and one player stands in the middle
Execution:
- Player with ball starts with a short ball to the middle.
- Player in the middle plays back the bra and this ball is attacked by the 3rd player.
- This player passes the ball short to the middle, where the 1st player gives a setup.
- Etc.
Organization:
- Trio in the pass with Sv on 2
- 1 server and 1 block on 2 and 3
Execution
- Service on passers
- Pass-set-up attack on 4
- Server defending on 5
Organization Field A:
- Playmaker on 2
- Attackers on 4
- Libero on 5
- Field B:
- Blockers on 2 and 3
- Attackers on 4/5
Execution:
- Tr / player throws / hits ball on libero
- Pass-setuo-attack
- Run: Attacker becomes block at 2
- Block at 2 goes to 3
- Block at 3 goes to throw/strike
- Thrower becomes attacker on field A
- Goal
- Training 3-meter offense and defense.
- Handling hard balls by the defense.
- The exercise
- There are two teams facing each other.
- The teams are balanced in numbers as much as possible.
- The trainer introduces the first ball so that a back player can immediately (with pressure) execute a 3-meter attack, after that the rally is free.
- The team that wins the rally then receives the first ball from the trainer.
- If there are 8 players or less, only attacks from behind the 3-meter, with more players it can be chosen to place players at the net or to make it a King's Court exercise. (The losing side rotates out of the court; all attacks then continue to come from behind the 3-meter).
- The attack takes place on the position [2] at the net and [1] and [6] over the 3-meter.
- The libero always comes from position [5] to take over the Sv. (for instance because the playmaker in the rally took care of the pass) and to take care of the set-up.
- The 'pass' is introduced by the trainer at the height of the 3-meter at position [5].
- If the libero stays outside the 3-meter he may provide the set-up overhand, otherwise only underhand.
- Objective:
- To prevent miscommunication in the field by keeping appointments.
- Part:
- Pass setup with 4 passers.
- Left hand rule everything that comes right in front and left of you is yours.
- In addition, the outside passers have the short balls that fall in the middle of the field.
- Trainer stands at the other side of the net and starts throwing balls at conflicting places.
- If this goes well, the trainer will hit the balls.
- On the place of the defender there is a catcher who will be relieved after 3 minutes.
- Part 2:
- There is a five-man line-up.
- So a playmaker, a center, a slide and 2 passers/runners.
- The playmaker comes from the right back.
- On the other side are 3 blockers and 1 defender.
- The coach serves to the fivesome.
- The playmaker of the fivesome is only allowed to pass to the attackers who are calling for the ball.(Goal: everyone asks for the ball)
- The rally is played out.
- Find out what the players can do.
- Organization:
- On field A 2 persons without the ball. 1 at the net and 1 at 3m. at position 4 and a SV at 2/3.
- Further on field A a row with ball on 6.
- On field B a defender on 6 and 5.
- Defending and (for now) catching and connecting on field A.
- Method of working:
- Player on 6 throws/plays the ball to SV.
- At the moment of set-up the player at 4 moves backwards at the net (a C-run) and attacks the passed ball.
- Both SV and player give attacking cover.
- The attacker takes the place of the passer.
- Later move attack to 3 and defenders to 1 and 5.
- Organization:
- 6 players per field.
- 2 on each side of the net in position 1.
- Pass to 5 or 6, build up and pass the ball to the server.
- The server defends to position 6, who executes the first contact, and the previous server sets the ball to position 2, the defence player.
- As long as there are 2 balls, keep going, if 1 is dropped, go for the point.
- Organization
- Ladder exercise.
- Sideways movement to between pos. 4 and 5, body turns towards attacker.
- Defence on attack.
- Variant ladder exercise:
- Variant:
- After defence, passer sets ball to pos 4 + attack.
- Pass can also go to blue player (attacker), white player then gets another free ball, on which she definitely gets the pass.
- After defence, the passer can play a move ball to either the white or the blue player, then pass to one of the two.
- Turn over:
- Defence => attack => ladder
- At least 2 reserve players on ladder and attack.
- In case of more players: add a block.
- 2 trios, 1 on the service field and the other on the other side.
- Service, pass and attack on 3m (out of position).
- Defend and play with only 3m attacks.
- In case of more than one trio, rotate through.
- It is possible to have a reserve trio on each court.
- Organization:
Make trios.
1 trio is on field A and 1 trio on field B.
On both fields one trio is on reserve
Trainer with the balls is on field B.
- Execution:
Tr. "serves" the ball to field A: pass-set-up-attack
On field B the ball is defended and caught in max 3 contacts
Ball is placed in the ball pit
After the service pass the trio runs on to field B and becomes a reserve
The trio on field A becomes a reserve on field A.
Immediately after the action the reserve trios enter the field.
- Expanding:
Now 2 trios on field B
Loop becomes: fitting trio becomes blocking trio
Blocking trio becomes defending trio
The defending trio becomes reserve on field A
The reserve on field A passes and attacks
