Volleyballexercises for u13

Goal:
as fast as possible the hoops from front to back and back to front.

Preparation:

  • 10 pylons
  • 16 hoops
Steps:

  • Create two rows of pylons with enough space between them for one player to lie on their back.
  • Place 8 hoops around the first pylon of each row.
  • The first player grabs the first hoop and places it behind them over the next pylon.
  • The next player grabs the hoop and places it behind them again until all the hoops are placed around the back pylon.
  • The team that first puts all the hoops around the back pylon wins.

Preparation
  • players stand in a pre-arranged playing field with a ball
Course of play A
  • Players bounce through each other while dribbling.
  • Players try to touch another person's ball (1 point)
    • Variant high, low, right, left dribbling continue to be added during the game
Course of play B
  • Players start at the back line (half of the group)
  • Run while dribbling to the 3 meter line - 6 meter line - middle line
  • Group 1 rolls their ball from the center line under the net and tries to catch up with a dive.
  • From the moment the 1st half has reached the center line the 2nd group leaves
Course of play C
  • Players bounce through each other while dribbling.
  • Players try to knock the ball of another person off the field (only then a point)
Course D
  • Players start at the back line (half of the group)
  • Run while dribbling to the 3 meter line - 6 meter line - middle line in a sideways motion
  • Group 1 rolls their ball from the center line under the net and tries to catch up with a dive.
  • From the moment the 1st half has reached the center line the 2nd group leaves
  • Exercise is repeated in mirror image. (left & right)
Goal of the exercise:
  • Quickly handle two balls being saved.
  • Play 2 balls in quick succession and then move 1 position.

Explanation of the exercise:
  • Passer learns to pass diagonally backwards a deep ball and immediately afterwards a short ball (this is how the passer learns to make large angles).
  • Playmaker must look for the next ball immediately after the first set-up.
  • Attacker, after landing, must go backwards as quickly as possible to make another attack.
  • Trainer can indicate where the balls should be hit, determine the pace of set-ups or that passer should do attack coverage immediately after first pass to then pass the second ball.

  • level 1
    • 1 passer in 3 yards -> has been freeball so passer runs in
    • 2 players in defense play the ball to the passer in the 3m.
    • Passer passes, attackers leave at the net make backward move to attack home, do attack and catch the ball jumped at the net.
  • Level 2
    • Same as previous only attacker will play short tip ball back to defenders.

  • Play balls in the corners or in the middle to force movement to the ball
  • 2 good passes, then attack. Depending on position
  • Pass must be processed to attack center or outside

  • Variation: try to throw in such a way that the ball cannot be caught
  • Variation: hit the ball through the mat.
  • Variation: 2 against 2: 1 person hitting, other ball passing.
  • Variation: 2 balls. 1 ball throw over, other play through the mat
Organization
  • 2 hoops on 1 side of the field
  • 2 players behind the hoops
  • 2 players on the side without the hoops.
Gameplay A
  • Player A collides the ball in front of himself and keys it across the field towards 1 of the 2 hoops.
  • Player B collides the ball and dribbles with the ball to the other side, The dribbling is done with the hand which side the ball collided; Left side collision is left hand dribbling. Right side collision is right hand dribbling.
Match form: Can the first player score in a hoop or not? against the hoop = 1 point. In the hoop is 2 points.
Gameplay B
  • Player A throws the ball up in front of himself and keys it across the field towards 1 of the 2 hoops.
  • Player B bounces the ball and dribbles only 1 more time towards the net. after this the player keys over the net and catches his own ball. player B joins back behind.
Game sequence C
  • Player A throws the ball up in front of himself and keys it across the court.
  • Player B throws a hoop at the place where the ball will collide (ball insight); after this he calls an attack position 4 or 2.
  • Player C moves sight to the ball and dribbles to the net, makes a high dribble and keys to the attacking player.
  • Player B keys the ball in 1 contact over the net and catches his own ball
If it goes well 2 players play against each other max 2 times and after this move on.

Phase 1:
  • 2 with ball on serve.
  • 2 in court.
  • Start with serve and reception to mat.
  • Non-reception player catches ball on mat and goes to serve.
  • Serving player enters the backfield.

Phase 2:
  • Phase 1 + pass is given and passed to mat -> targeted.
  • Player who skips moves to serve.
  • Mat can be moved to transfer to other direction.

Game flow:
  • 1 row of pots where exercises are done around/over
Exercises:
  • Players do the exercises in pairs and keep looking at each other.
  • Fast forward - backward movement between the pots: 2 forward, 1 backward.
  • Lateral left-right movement: 2 forward, 1 backward.
Players follow each other in quick succession:
  • slalom sideways displacement
  • slalom around alternating left and right
  • Knee lift left leg over pots / right leg
  • Jumping push off with both feet together over pots with intermediate jump
  • Jumping both feet together over pots without intermediate jump
After the pots continue walking to the end of the field and return along the sideline.

  • Run to the net for a key throw
