Volleyballexercises for u16

  • Libero in position 5.
  • Ball is struck by SV 1 from position 4.
  • SV 2 runs in from position 1 and has a choice of 3 attackers.
  • Opposite 3 blockers or defenders.
  • After the rally Tr. serves and attacks again.
  • Then the playmakers change.
  • Another attacker is played twice.
  • Scoring 2x is 3 points, scoring 1x is 1 point and scoring 0x is exchange.
  • Who will have 15 points first?
  • Passer starts at position 5, with foot on the three-meter line.
  • Ball is thrown up and hit from position 1 other side.
  • When thrown up, the passer may move.
  • Catcher runs in from position 4 to 2/3 and takes place on the mat.
  • Pass on mat is 1 point, catcher then serves from 1 to 5.
  • In the zone is 1 point, on the mat is 2 points.
  • Then retrieve ball and attack.
  • Whoever gets to 15 points first wins.

Variation
  • Same, only now with 2 regular players, who take turns starting from position 4.
  • An attacker is now added.
  • The passer and passer make room for the new passer.
  • The one who attacked serves again.
  • The one who attacked goes to defend in the straight and then goes to block.
  • The one who blocked becomes the reserve passer.
  • Points can be gained by good pass, good service, score in attack or good defense, block can catch ball.
  • Who will reach 20 points first?
The players receive a rally ball from the trainer. The players will receive an assignment from the trainer beforehand.
The assignments are as follows:

  1. Hard attack from positions 2 and 4.
  2. Jab ball from position 2 and 4.
  3. 1st tempo attack to the middle.
  4. Long ball into the corners from position 2 and 4.
  5. Ball to free net defender from position 2 and 4.
  6. Place ball on playmaker.
Each task is performed twice, once with the playmaker behind and once with the playmaker in front. Assignment 6 only with the playmaker behind.
  • There are two teams. One team on each side of the net.
  • From each team there are always 3 people in the field - a passer, playmaker and attacker.
  • After the ball has been played over the net, they continue to pass, but with assignments. See on drawing.

  • Buffer enters the field at position 4, near pawn, and plays the ball over the net.
  • This player then makes a block at positions 4 and 3 and becomes playmaker.
  • After setup, the playmaker sprints around the pawn at position 1 and becomes passer.
  • The passer dives after the pass to the pawn at position 5 and becomes buffer.
  • The buffer enters the field at position 4.

  • Players make a large circle. About one half of play.
  • Ball is thrown over with an assignment and players, after throwing it, run after it.
  • To throw ball wrong or not catch it is to step out of the circle and complete assignment.
Exercise:
  • playing overhand;
  • alternate between overhand and underarm;
  • pass - setup - attack
  • Base is butterfly with fixed SV.
  • Two pass on side B.
  • Player throws ball on two pass.
  • Pass is P/L. possibly build out with middle attack.

  • Pairs with one ball.
  • A plays overhand left next to B.
  • B move and plays underarms back to A.
  • Now the same to the right.
  • Play about 1.5 meters next to the person.
  • After 10 changes
Goal: move and turn in.

Organization:
  • Making trios
  • Field A. 2 trios in home position
  • Field B. 1 trio in pass position and trainer with ball carrier

Execution:
  • Trainer throws the ball at 2 for a setup
  • At the moment of setup, the team on field A goes
  • To the starting position and defend the attack
  • After 5 attacks, the trios switch:
  • 1-6-5 to 2-3-4
  • 2-3-4 become attackers
  • Attackers become 1-5-6
  • Players divide into groups of 2 or 3.
  • They then proceed to do one of 5 exercises.
  • Each exercise corresponds to a number.
  • When an exercise is done, the trainer is asked if the number in the code is correct.
  • If it is, they may move on to the next number, otherwise they do another exercise.
  • The group that cracked the code first wins.

  • In the field are all hoops in strategic places. In places where in the match the best service can be made.
  • One person of the pair stands in a hoop, the other serves.
  • If the person in the hoop can catch the ball -may not step out of the hoop-, the hoop may be taken away. This counts as a point.
  • After each service there is an exchange.
  • Trainer stands on a cabinet section at position 2 or 4.
  • Trainer throws up a ball and hits/pins a ball into the court where there is a team lineup.
  • Goal is to defend these balls and take over the rally.
  • We play sets to the 15, where scoring directly from the defense scores 2 points and scoring the ball in the rally -through an opponent's mistake or otherwise- scores 1 point.
  • On the opposite side is a trio. These three players defend and attack from behind 3 meters.
2 teams -2 touch

2 teams play against each other. Teams may only:
  • Play ball underhand.
  • Play ball overhand.
  • Play push/puncture ball.
  • Do not smash!
Initial goal: keep the ball in play.
Variation goal: competition, make it as difficult as possible for each other. Run on everything, react, dive.

2-team OH overplaying. Control, high balls, get ready low.
From movement:
  • After OH move left and right. First to left, then back to right.
  • After OH to the back, and catch up again. Change after 10 balls.
OH with trainer from position 2Trainer throws the balls to:
  • From a row:
    • Move from side field.
    • Move from center field.
    • Move from the backfield.
    • Movement from 3 meter area.
  • From a row:
    • Pass the throw from the trainer and catch it yourself at position 3.
  • 3 in a row:
    • Fixed catcher on 3. Each time 3 moves up and adds a player on the outside.
