Volleyballexercises for u16

  • The field is divided lengthwise, by an aerial on the half net.
  • Players are divided on 4 places,
  • Player serves over the net and is caught by the player on the other side. This player closes the row with the ball, next to the catcher. Etc.
  • VARIATION:
    • Player doesn't catch the ball anymore, but passes straight up to herself.
  • Group is divided:
    • servers,
    • 1 SV,
    • group of passers.
  • The group of passers are 4.
  • The one who passes the ball to the distributor, can go to the other side.
  • The server goes to the group of 4,
  • the server continues as SV.
  • Group is divided in 2 halves.
  • 4 players make sure that every service is processed to the SV.
  • SV plays the 4 players outside the 3 meter area. The four players must attack, aggressively, but outside the 3 meter area.
  • VARIATION:
    • 2 groups play point forward. Both sides must play outside the 3 meter area. Also short balls are not allowed. No point in the 3 meter area.
  • 2 rows of players on one half.
  • They throw the ball to the trainer, who throws or plays overhand to the net.
  • Players walk to the net with an attacking pass and smash the ball.
  • Variation:
    • On the other side stands a player who tries to pass the ball.
  • Running back line net 3x

Stretch

  • Leg hold 1x
  • Leg held back 1x
  • Push leg sideways 1
  • Go through knees and turn exercise 1x
  • 1 has a ball others are lying flat on the ground.
  • With the ball everybody jumps with two legs over everybody else
  • and the last one stands up with his legs wide
  • and then the last one jumps until everyone is finished.
  • 1 playmaker, 3 passers, 3 or 4 attackers in the left front. 2 servers.
  • Serving -> pass -> setup -> attack -> (block)
  • Server goes to row of attackers,
  • attacker goes to serve.
  • Passers remain standing.
  • Faulty service is no return.
  • Faulty pass is through.
  • Offender gets the ball.

2 teams, one of which plays with 6.

  • If team sees opposing team use pass/key to play over the net,
  • the entire team must move backwards, away from the center.


If opposing team plays an attack through midfield, they must be in the regular lineup.

Make 3 threes:

  • 2 trios form base 6
  • Coach plays ball high over the net, back players handle this ball.
  • Point of attention: the two outside players (position 2 and 4) must move backwards when they see the high ball, in order to defend, and then be ready for the attack again.
  • Play out the rally in a concentrated manner.
  • Teams of 3 alternate.


3 triplets

  • 2 trios form base 6
  • 3rd trio on the other half of the pitch


intention is that the 6-team knows that an attack is played over 2 or 4.
6 team must anticipate

  • the midfielder must connect with the right/left forwards to make a block.
  • the remaining front player must move to the front of the net, the libeo (position 6) defends the block, Position 1 and 5 take position in the backfield.


After some attacking, 3 of them change position and 3 of them swap.

  • Alternate between anticipation 1 and 2.
  • Player must react correctly to attack and/or high ball.

    • When attacking the block and the rest react in the back. Libero covers the block.
    • At high ball, anticipate to the back
  • There are 2 teams who both stand behind the back line.
  • In the middle between the two teams are 9 hoops in rows of 3, each team has 5 bags/ ribbons/pins.
  • At the start sign of the trainer, one person of each group may run and place a bag or move a bag of the opponent.
  • When this player is back behind the line, the next one may run.
  • The first team to get 3 in a row wins the game.
