Volleyballexercises for u16
One scapegoat is appointed, this scapegoat must try to catch the other players within the yellow lines.
- Has the ticker ticked 3 players? Next ticker!
- The whole volleyball field is the playing field.
- In the middle of the field the net hangs about 40 cm above the ground (do not tighten the bottom line for safety reasons).
- The players and tickers can dive under the net to get to the other side of the court.
First, a quick turn in.
1 playmaker
1 "false-dead" in the other half
1 attacker without ball
The rest with the ball line up behind the attacker.
- Number 1 with the ball throws to the playmaker, who gives a set up and the attacker tries to score.
- The sham is going to try to pass and catch the ball, if he succeeds, the attacker is "dead" and has to take over the place of the sham who may now join the line.
- If the attacker scores he will get the ball and join the back of the line.
- This continues until there is only 1 attacker left, if he scores again, he or she is the winner.
- The last ball is thrown by the trainer.
- Place a mat at random in each field.
- On 2 sides stand a group to serve.
- Serve on the mat.
- Then run after your ball, make a dive, make a block and join the line on the other side.
- Who hit the mat the most?
- Players should try to stand as close to the back line as possible, but if they can't they may move closer to the net
- 2 rows of players
- 1 row on the left back
- 1 row at the right back
- create with 4 pawns a virtual line where they have to stand behind
- trainer stands at the other side of the net and throws the ball somewhere in the field.
- 1 of the 2 front rows calls LOS orI (agree on that)
- this player passes the ball to the playmaker, setup and attack straight ahead. Attacker retrieves his own ball.
- The playmaker goes on the attack, Paschal becomes setupper, the attacker joins the shortest row.
- If you did not have the ball, join the shortest line.

- 3 teams
- 1 at the net
- other 2 on 2 sides in the back of the field
- B throws ball at A
- B passes under the net
- A plays the ball UNDER HANDS to C
- C plays the ball UNDER HAND to B
- B catches the ball
- B throws the ball to C
- B passes under the net
- C over the net to A

- Player A throws/strikes the ball towards player C.
- Player C passes the ball to player B.
- Player B sets up the ball.
- Player C attacks.
Goal: try to attack/play 3rd ball on the mats (straight or diagonal).
After each ball move one place in your own group.
Extension: When there are enough players one could also choose to place a block.
- Place a mat at random in each field.
- On 2 sides stand a group to serve.
- Serve on the mat.
- Then run after your ball and join the line on the other side.
- Who hit the mat the most?
- Players should try to stand as close to the back line as possible, but if they can't they can move closer to the net.
- the intention is to get 3 in a row
- 2 teams per game
- 9 hoops in a square (3x3)
- each team has 3 ribbons, each team its own color
- the first of each team runs to the hoops and puts down the ribbon
- quickly back and touch the next one
- the first player who has no more ribbons (they are already in the square) can move a ribbon
- the team that has 3 in a row first, has won.

See picture. Take turns throwing the ball. After throwing the ball touch the back line and go back to the same spot.
Throwing good? Then all underhand. Later all above hands.

Trainer throws ball:
1. Pass â€" catch run through (B puts ball in box and joins back)
2. Pass â€" setup â€" overhand play (A plays ball 1-3 B 2, C passes ball in front of himself)
3. Same B. Only now C passes ball to position 2-3 where 1 player will be standing.
To practice jumping make 2 pairs.
It's not about the run up but purely about the jump.
1 of the 2 sits on the ground with the feet straight ahead and the arms spread.
The other jumps for example over the right arm after that over the legs and then again over left arm. (5 rounds and then switch)
People walk in a line around the field. The back must cross the front and get to the front. Do this until you are back in the starting position.
Variation: billy goat jump
