Volleyballexercises for u17
- Everyone stands diagonally on the three-meter line with their shoulder facing the net.
- When the coach calls "yes," everyone quickly deep-sits to the net,
- move back to the three-yard line,
- then to the other side of the three-yard line and
- then back to the net and back to the three-meter line.
Pairs divide among the four squares in the field and play the following warm-up exercises in sequence:
- Balls are thrown the way it is caught. The one who throws the ball over the net goes to tap the wall at the back and returns. Foul or point is passed. Possibly with point scoring;
- Same, but now the ball is played back in one go with a volleyball technique;
- Ditto, only now the attack is made from behind the three-meter line and not tapped inside the three-meter zone;
- Ditto, anything goes and the box from which scores represent the number of points that can be earned.
Organization:
- Field A. 2 players in pass P4 and P3.
- Sv on P2.
- Field B. Block on P2 and P3.
- Serve P1 and defend P4 and P5.
Execution:
- Service on P3 and P4. Then defend on P1.
- Attack hard if possible and tap otherwise.
- Change after 5 services.
- 3 triplets:
- 1 throws balls to
- 1 provides ball security
- 1 goes to work
- Ball is attacked in the straight on thrown on ball.
- This ball is caught and thrown back to the person who threw it.
- The attacker meanwhile goes around the pawn in the backfield and comes back to attack again.
- 10 balls and then change.
- Each trio starts at the same time.
- Two teams, whose players line up randomly in the field.
- Ball is caught and thrown back the same way.
- When the ball is thrown, the one who threw it goes to tap a wall.
- The other players turn in the meantime.
- Making a mistake means running around the field and rejoining the team.
- After a while, players play instead of throw.
- The one who played goes to tap the net and comes back.
- There is still a run through and a run around in case of a foul.
- Scoring can only be done between the three-meter line and the back line.
Trainer plays ball to 2-tal, they have to set up an attack together by themselves.
- Watch how the 6-squad runs.
- Mid-back/playmaker.
- Do not run backwards, but towards the net, for a block, then block cover, then move other players along.
Trainer plays the ball from 2-squad to 6-squad.
- Watch how the 6-some runs.
- Mid-back and playmaker.
- Move along to where the attack is coming, attack run.
2 vs. 6
- Trainer starts by throwing to player/setter at 2,5.
- Setter plays ball to attacker at 4.
6-setter defends fully and plays out the rally.

System play out:
- 6 setter stands in lineup and alternates among themselves.
- Fixed 2 setters, at 4 change, at 3 fixed, at 2 fixed.

Everyone moves along, and everyone communicates; call loose, attack, call names.
- Setter after set.
- Passer after pass, backfield toward attack.
- Backfield creeps behind attack, block coverage.

- Trainer throws 10 balls
- Player must have at least touched each ball
- Continue until all 10 balls have been touched
Organization
- Make duos and place 2 duos on each side of the field
- 1 duo has the ball
Execution
- 1 duo serves
- The other duo passes the ball
- The non passer plays the ball with a backhand over the net
- After 10 serves change positions
Emphasis is on the pass, so the service is secondary
Organization:
- Players with ball on P1 on field A.
- Reserve player on P4 on field B.
- 2 passers -P5 and P6- on field B.
- 1 attacker on P4 on field B.
- 1 attacker on P4 on field A.
- 1 or 2 defenders on P5 -P6- on field A.
Execution:
- Hit/throw ball from field A -P1- to the passers on field B.
- Take position of reserve P4 on field B.
- Pass to attacker -P4- and at that moment the passers move to P1 and P6.
- Attacker hits/plays the ball to the passers and takes the position P5.
- Reserve becomes P4.
- Pass the played ball and hit that ball to defenders on field A.
- P1 on field A rushes under the net and takes the position of P4.
- P4 plays the defended ball to P1, where it is caught.
- Defender goes to P1 and connects behind and starts over.
Pairs a ball.
- 1 player bounces ball, other player tries to take it away without grabbing the opposing player. If successful, the role changes.
- In pairs pass the ball from one side of the room to the other. Without running with the ball yourself. Who is the fastest? If it goes wrong, pick up where it went wrong.
- Same, but then throw it. If it goes wrong then start again.
- Ball in the middle of the room between the players. Players on the back line on coach's signal run to the ball. Who has the ball first?
- Players one meter apart with ball in the middle on the floor. On signal from trainer. Hands on head/ knee/ shoulder/ or ball.
- 1 of the two has the ball and holds it with two hands. Opponent has hands just above the ball. As soon as the other drops the ball, try to catch it before it hits the ground.
