Volleyballexercises for u19

Exercise 1: Triangles
  • Ball thrower starts at the net with the ball cart.
  • 3 working players and the others catch balls. Can be done on 2 sides of the field.
  • Thrower alternates throwing L & R balls at a brisk pace.
  • Blue gets ball defended at position 1 and goes back to home position at 6. Then goes to defend at position 5 right.
Exercise 2: Balls
  • 2 players stand on a plinth or rise with ball. They give a signal and then throw the ball up and play it over 'hard'.
  • The field players tap the pancake in the middle. On signal they move to the right side in defense.
  • Field players try to defend if possible they play the ball over the net to the skirting attackers.
Exercise 3: Dots
  • 2 or 3 defenders between the gates. Players on the skirting board give signal and attack. Focus : going for the ball and communication.
  • If defending then 1 player runs in and passes the ball into the net. Possibly in 3 times and then defend.
  • The 2 other players do a block cover and defend the ball.
  • New player on the skirting board, 3 others are ready between the gates + attack starts on the other side.
    Variation: Can also be done with a serve + attack if full court is free. Also with continue play and realize majority situation.
drawing  Defensive Exercises
Goal: score as many points as possible in the other person's tire.
  • Duos facing each other with 2 bicycle tires with 1 ball. 
  • You score a point by throwing the ball into the opponent's tire, after which the ball cannot be caught by the opponent.
Variations:
  • With multiple balls.
  • Different type of ball.
  • With or without pass to teammate.
  • With several players.
  • With more ties.

  • Player 1 blocks first at center and then at left front.
  • After block turn around and defends attack of player 3 back.
  • Then defends in dive short ball from player 5.
  • Player 2 is next.
  • Turn over: player 1 to short ball, player 3 to block, player 5 to attack.

  • Put 2 benches on 1 side of the court
    • Player sitting on the bench
  • Other side 2 teams
  • First serve straight to the player sitting on the bench
    • If a player can catch the ball, the server has a point.
  • After that serve diagonally
  • Who has reached X number of points first?
    • Trainer decides

Organization:
  • Trainer with reserve player and ball pit on field B p4
  • Block at field B on p2/p3 and defend p5
  • 2 players in field A at p2/p3 (block)
  • Defending field B at p4 and p5

Execution:
  • Trainer hits ball to p4/p5
  • Block and turn immediately open
  • Defended ball attacks on p4
  • Block-defend-catch

Running:
  • Attack p4-block p2-block p3-reserve
  • Block p2-block- p3-reserve p5-defend p5
Organization:
  • 2 passers on field A on p5 and p6
  • Playmaker at the net
  • Attacker on p3
  • Serve on field B
  • Blocker on field B at p3
  • Defender on field B at 5

Execution:
  • Service on passers.
  • Server defends on p1
  • Pass set up attack on 3 (1st or 2nd pace)

After 5 attacks on p3 change.

Organization Field A:
  • Playmaker on 2
  • Attackers on 4
  • Defender on 5 + reserve
  • Field B:
  • Blockers on 2 and 3
  • Attackers on 4/5

Execution:
  • Tr/player throws/strikes ball at defender
  • Pass-set-up attack
  • Running:
    • Attacker becomes block at 2
  • Block at 2 goes to 3
  • Block at 3 goes to throw/strike
  • Thrower becomes reserve defender on field A
  • Defender becomes attacker at field A
Organization:
  • Field A passer on p6, Sv on p2 and attacker on p4 at the net
  • Field B defender on p5, thrower/server on p1 and block on p2

Execution:
  • Technical service on passer.
  • Pass to SV and attack on p4
  • Both SV and passer give attack coverage
  • If block, defend and attack again
  • If defending, pass to passer and attack again
  • If scoring, switch.
  • Maximum 3 attacks

Intensive version:
  • 4-team handles ball from trainer, and plays out the rally.
  • Other players make sure balls are out of the way.
  • Trainer gives alternate balls, smash/push/free ball.

  • Fixed setter.
  • Change to 5 minutes.

Variation:
  • Rally is played out in its entirety 4 v 4/3
  • Points of interest:
    • Going full for every ball.
    • Good first pass
    • Move with the game without the ball
Practice service-pass:
  • Base lineup with setter fixed.
  • 6 players handle the service.
  • Service either from the trainer or 7th player.
  • Trainer can then choose to put extra ball in play to start an extra rally.
  • Start with setter on 1.
  • 6 rotations.
  • Ball to TR (2/3) who thus determines how the pass is.
  • 3 defenders on 1 side others go with 1 SV attacking from 52 and C
  • Ball pit in the back of the pitch and the attacker throws the ball to the SV

  • Both sides a number of players and SV
  • Player puts the ball on
    • SV plays it back (to libero or attacker)
  • Then the ball is attacked at 52
  • The libero stays standing on the other side the defender (ball from the SV back) attacks this ball himself.

EXTENSION
  • On 52 and in the middle
drawing Batting (attack) with first pass to SV
  • On both sides are 4 players (2 in the field and 2 in the waiting room)
  • Ball is served, on the side where the ball falls to the ground swap with the players from the waiting room.
  • The winning team may serve again.
