Volleyballexercises for u19
2 groups
- Group 1 serves.
- Group 2 provides service pass.
After each pass position turn to the right and the rightmost player turns to the left.
Variation:- Group 2 moves backwards from 3 meters to receive service
- Ball is played to setter/TR.
- Catch ball.
- Ball is rolled to group 1.
- Variation: 2nd ball.
- Variation: Same exercise now with 2 outfield players.
Service/pass/attack outfield players. - Variation : 2nd ball. The whole exercise revolves around the quality of the service pass. Another goal is the movement of the other players.
- Followed by a high intensity exercise.
- Three players and one regular setter process the service of the trainer, play out the rally.
- Other players pick up balls.
- 3 against 4 or 3 against 3
- TR starts the rally with a service.
- 3 laps of warm-up running
- Playing in pairs, peppering
Variation:- Touching the ground 1 hand/2 hands
- Player moves from the pawn at 3 meters to the back, here she plays a pass.
- Player at the net checks, 1x bra, then next ball for the running player.
Variation:- Smash or overhand throw.
- Checking for the pass.
- Checking the pass under the net.
Sparring in varia:
- 2 defenders (or 3)
- 1 setter
- 1 attacker
Long distance: as if playing a service pass.
Setter plays the ball to the attacker, who plays an attack, smash/push to the defenders, who play the ball to the setter.
Change every 4 minutes.
- Trainer plays ball in to duo on opposite side
- Attack is built up and passed on technically
- Attacker disappears to substitute,
- Reserve comes in to pos 6,
- 6 to 5,
- 5 to blocker (out of the net)
- Same at the other side
- After 5 minutes change of passer
- Volleyball over benches
- 2 against 2 or 2 against 1
- Hit it just once
- Matches over 2 winning sets to 10 points, at 3rd set to 5 points
- 3 points for 2-0 score and for 2-1 it is 2 points for winning team and 1 point for losing team
- Winning teams against each other
- Trainer stands on back line and hits
- Defend ball by duo on opposite side, pass & attack
- Block is always open
- Defense ready at first, then in formation at block open
- If necessary play on = Passer blocks
- Push through with rotations, alternately block open / toe
Organization
- Divide the groups on both sides of the net
- Create a row on P3
- Give the ball to the first player of 1 row.
Execution:
- Start with 2 hands throwing from the neck
- Go under the net, over the backline and connect.
- Then throw 1 hand (left and right), then interfere.
- Then play BH or OH.
- In the meantime, before the player goes under the net, a small block jump
- Possibly dive or roll on the other side
- Split the group in two
- Player with a couple of balls at the post
- 1 SV at the net who always distributes the ball
- Every defender has a ball EXCEPT FOR ONE
- so if there are 4 defenders on the field, 3 of them have the ball
- Player at the post puts the ball up to the SV, who plays the ball (first easy) to a random defender WITH A BALL !
- He throws his ball to another defender with no ball and passes to the SV,
- DIRECTLY the SV plays another ball to another player (defender) WITH A BALL.
- Regularly changing players/position
Organization:
- 3 passers and "Sv" on 2 and reserve on 1
- 3 defenders and 1 sv/block on 2
Execution:
- Ball is served. First trainer, then players.
- Pass by 1, 5 or 6 to p2/3.
- "Sv" gives a setup to p4
- Player on p5 runs a "C" and attacks the ball.
- Possible rally play
- "Sv" goes to get ball and then serve
Runs:
- Field A:
- Reserve=>1=>6=>5=>2=>field B
- Field B:
- Reserve =>5=>2=>1=>6=>serve=>field A
NB: FOCUS IS ON SERVICE PASS
- Setter is already at the net
- Attackers line up in a train to attack from the middle
- Trainer or libero passes balls at high speed
- Create storage pressure
- Aim at the mat
- 1x: losers 10x pumps
- 2x: losers 20x abdominal exercise
- 3x: losers 10x block jump
- Duo taking turns
- They have to achieve 7/10 in points.
- No 7/10? Then do an assignment
- Push-ups
- Abdominal exercises
- Block jumps
- Diving
- No 7/10? Then do an assignment
- The goal is to perform under pressure
Organization:
- Making trios
- 1 trio on field B ("service field")
- 1 trio on field A (reception)
- 1 trio reserve at field A
Execution:
- Trainer serves quietly and the trio at field A passes the ball to p2
- There is a "playmaker" and gives a setup for player 3
- This player hits the ball from a standing position over the net
- The trio there defends and catches.
- Passers become defenders B
- Defenders B become reserve A
- Spare A becomes Passer A
Pay attention:
- Each time the trio passes, choose another position.
