Basketball drills for technique shooting
Shooting game where they get to take a card when they have scored. Each playing card shows a "color," clubs, spades, hearts or diamonds. Each color represents a fitness exercise.
Hearts: Push-ups, Spades: Squat, Clubs: Burpee, Diamonds: Lunges.
Once they have picked a card, they must first perform the corresponding exercise, they do this the number the card indicates. For example, Hearts 4 = 4 push-ups. Then they may continue shooting again. Group with the most cards, has won.
- In threesomes shooters
- Starting lineup:
- Per 2 form a team
- 5 positions around the bucket
- Each duo starts at a different position
- Maximum of 3 teams per goal
- Progression:
- Players each take turns taking a shot
- Players take their own rebound
- After 5 scores, move to the next position
- Shift clockwise
- Team that scores first at all positions 5 times wins
- Progression:
- Take shots from slightly farther away
- Walk out to sideline or end line
- Regression:
- Taking shots from slightly closer
- Starting lineup:
- Players are distributed to the 2 goals
- 1 player stands ready to take a free throw
- 1 player stands ready to take the rebound
- Progression:
- Each player makes 5 x 2 free throws
- Each player counts for himself how many free throws he makes
- After taking the free throw you take rebound
- After taking the rebound you sprint from end line to end line
- After sprinting you connect back in for the next 2 free throws
- Progression:
- Player sprints 1 more time to the center line and back
- Player sprints 1 more time to the center line and back
- Regression:
- Player sprints only to the center line and back
- 2 attacking players with both a ball
- Start simultaneously on the end line
- Dribble around a cone on the center line
- Then go through a gate of 2 cones at the level of the free-throw line to score first
- Those who miss must go through the gate again
- When they have scored, they pass the ball to the next teammate
- The first team to score with all its players wins
Setup:
- 1 group baseline corner
- 1 group left wing
- 1 group right wing
- Ball right wing
Exercise:
- Player comes in and passes coach.
- Chooses baseline or middle.
- Based on this, the other 2 groups rotate.
- Always do an extra pass!
- Finish of choice.

Exercise:
- Player baseline passes to wing and does close out and dribbles past.
- Player wing dribbles past it with 2 dribbles towards middle and passes to other winger who rotates more.
- Player who rotates and receives ball does a three point shot.
- Player who cuts and passes comes back up and plays 1 v 0.
- Receives pass from player who will rotate later.
- Therefore, first player here has no ball.
- Own rebound
- Variant:
- Player who rotates and catches ball does a layup.
- Player who cut does a drive and then a step-back sweater.
- Setup:
- Per 2 you form a team
- 5 positions around the bucket
- Each duo starts on a different position
- After 5 scores move to the next position
- Shift clockwise
- Own rebound
- Team that scores 5 first on all positions wins
- 2 groups
- At the level of the free throw line
- First a v-cut, then get ball
- Pivoting and shooting
- Own rebound
- Connecting on the other side

- With pivot on right foot
- Passing with right or left hand, depending on side
- 20 scores
- Pivot and dribble to goal, lay-up
- Straight to goal driven
- Pivot and dribble to goal, jump stop
- Two or three teams. (teams)
- Per pair or trio 1 ball.
- 1 shooter, 1 (or 2) rebounder(s).
- Shooter shoots (from the free throw line, or lower position), then sprints to the middle line.
- Rebounder catches ball, passes ball to shooter. (Good jump stop, right distance, call for ball).
- Shooter 5 scores in total, then new shooter.
- Team of which first all shooters have scored 5 times, wins!
- Player with ball under each basket.
- Whichever player has 25 scores first.
- Then next players.
- You make 2 teams divided over 2 baskets.
- The first to reach the proposed number of scores wins.
- The losing team does a half-killer.
