Handballexercises

1-on-1 attack/defending

  • 2 defenders take place on the left formation and on the right formation between 2 hats (approximately 3m between the hats)
  • The rest are spread over the left build-up and the right build-up (attack), and 1 point of play on the middle build-up
  • Attacker on the left plays the middle build-up and gets the ball back, after which she passes the defender, it is her turn on the right.
  • Depending on the size of the group, players will dribble within 6 or 9 metres
  • There are 2 dribbling taggers
  • The one who is tagged 'freezes' and stands with his legs wide open
  • When another player plays the ball between your legs, you are free again
  • Vary number of tappers
  • 1 Defender on the 9 meter between 2 cones
  • 1 Pawn close to the half way line
  • 1 Tosser
  • The rest of the children in the corner in a row

  • The player runs towards the cone on the half way line and receives the ball from the thrower.
  • Dribbles with the ball towards the defender
  • Passes, finishes with a shot and goes to defend
  • The defender takes the ball and joins the back of the row
drawing Tactics
  • Throwing over, pay attention to correct posture, elbow at shoulder height, left in front, etc.
  • Throwing over with a running motion (left-right-left)
  • Throwing over with the left side
  • Throwing over behind the back
  • Always aim for the right (catching) hand. Catch with 2 hands
  • Via the ground
Catch: stance with w / bowl
From the E:
  • Throwing over with jump shot
  • Passing underhand
  • Lateral pass
  • Passing with an attacking move, i.e. a few steps towards the goal, passing and backwards again.
There is a goalkeeper in the goal, players line up in the middle, or at the corners, dribble to the 9 yards, and shoot:
  • Running shot
  • Jump shot
  • Underhand
  • Via ground
  • In the middle are a number of 'sharks' dribbling.
  • In the corners of the field are different types of fish.
  • When your fish is called, you dribble in a circle around the sharks.
  • When the trainer calls out 'the sharks are coming', the sharks try to tap the fish.
  • The fish dribble away as fast as possible.
  • If you are tagged, you become a shark.
All kinds of exercises with mats
  • Pairs of 2 with 1 ball

  1. Player with ball tries to touch the mat with his foot
    • Other player tries to prevent it with the body
    • Defender has hands on his back
    • Each pair 2 times 1 minute, then change.
  2. Both players are on their knees on the mat
    • Try to push each other off the mat
    • If someone is pushed off the mat, start again
  3. Both on knees on the mat
    • 1 Holds ball, other player tries to take ball away
  4. The ball is on the mat
    • Both players with their hands on the edge of the mat, roll the ball towards each other
  5. Repeat, but then after contact with the ball move forward a bit, so that you have gone all the way around the mat
  6. Ball between the heads of the players, on hands all around the mat.
  • Each pair a ball, both grasping.
  • Then try to stand on each others toes. Be careful! Don't step on the feet!
In this exercise the learning of the feint is central through 2 practice forms.

Form 1:
  • Players start on the left back court without the ball, opposite a direct defender
  • Left and right of the defender there are 2 points of play with the ball
  • Player A starts with a run, feints to the left and receives the ball from the right (or the other way around) and finishes the game
Exercise form 2:
  • Player A runs to the right back court to get a ball from the box.
  • Player A crosses 3 medium hurdles and lands in a 0 pass, opposite a post (defender) positioned at 10 metres
  • After passing the post, player A shoots from distance opposite a defender block
All players pass in this way;
  • After being blocked you take the shot out of the goal and become the playmaker in exercise 1
  • If you are playing in training form 1, you become the starting player in training form 1
  • If you are a starting player and you have done training form 1 and 2, you become the block in training form 2
  • Defender stands at 9 meters
  • Offender throws ball to trainer
  • He throws it back and the player catches it in a null pass, and tries to run past the defender
  • The defender makes a physical catch, after which the attacker goes backwards and tries to dribble past the defender
  • Please note the number of passes!
In the waiting line, the high bounce may be practised (with the whole arm).
The bear
  • Stand in A frame, and walk slowly with flat hands and feet
    • Right hand, left foot, left hand, right foot
  • Always relax when it becomes too much
We'll play team ball like we're used to. Team 1 must score on the mat of team 2. Hereby the following rules apply;

  • Tipping the ball is not allowed
  • Maximum 3-pas
  • Each player has to bounce the ball through her legs before they can continue playing (basketball)
The first team to reach the 3 wins, the losing team sprints.
