Hockeyexercises for technique passing

  • A pushes the ball to B
  • B receives the ball and passes it on (2 touches)
  • B pushes the ball through to c who takes the ball closed and then turns left or right and finishes on goal
  • Other side the same
  • You stay with b and a once.
  • First, you give the ball and then receive it round before turning to pass.

  • Exercise with different lift pass
  • A runs towards the bar and well a lift over the bar and gives a pass to B
  • B runs towards the ball and gives a lift pass to A.
  • A runs through to receive the ball from B
  • A gives a hard flick towards C.
  • C comes in front of the bar and lifts the ball in a move over the bar and accelerates to the circle.
  • C takes the ball on the stick into the circle, lines it up and finishes on goal.

  • A starts with the ball
  • B comes running in the direction of A.
  • A gives a hard angled pass to B, B takes the ball with a lift and moves with it
  • B gives a deep ball to C who is ready to receive the ball and in one go takes it to the back line.
  • C receives the ball and accelerates over the back line to give a 90 degree pass to A who has run on to the front circle.
  • Set up exercise on 2 sides

  • A passes the ball to B.

  • A runs on and gets the ball back from B.
  • B takes the ball on the pass.
  • They touch the ball only 2 times.

  • B runs in to the deep and gets the ball back from A.
  • A also touches the ball twice, accepts and plays on.
  • B takes the ball in the depth and runs into the circle and rounds the goal.
  • Exercise on 2 sides.
    • If it goes well, put 1 defender in between to put pressure on the ball and if they intercept, they can score in the little goal on their side.

  • After that rounding off and going through to an action you have made.
  • A pushes the ball to B. (look, aim and hit the forehand of your teammate)
  • B receives the ball. (hands apart, stand actively, feet apart stick to the ground)
  • B pushes the ball to C who receives the ball and takes it with them to the other side.
  • Takes the ball with you (ball on the stick, hands apart, ball slightly in front of you).
  • Lines up the ball and finishes on the goal.
  • D pushes the ball after B has played it to C right away.
  • B has to turn around immediately and pay attention.
  • B receives the ball and makes a lap over the forehand.
  • B flats the ball to E.
  • E receives the ball and gives another flat to the second post.
  • C runs into the ball E gives and changes its direction.

  • Extension of exercise 1 of this training.
  • A passes the ball to B.
  • A moves to the outside to get the ball back there.
  • There is no space there so they accelerate on the pawn back to the middle and get the ball from B.
  • B must look at what A is doing and judge what is the best moment to pass the ball.
  • Let A do this a number of times and then put in a defender.
  • B must then think about when they want to pass the ball
  • This may be when A runs to the outside, that they give the ball when they thinks they can, or that they wait for A to speed up and then give the ball.
  • B should therefore start thinking and see what the best moment is
  • Set up on both sides

Goal :
  • To take on and pass at speed in movement.
Execution:
  • A pushes to B,
  • A runs along the 23 meter line and gets the ball back from B.
  • A takes on the run and passes immediately to C who comes up the sideline and passes immediately to D on the back line.
    • If there are only 3, C runs to the back line.
  • D takes on the ball and dribbles into the circle.
  • D passes to head of circle (A)
  • A gives a hard pass to B for tip in.

Variations 1. start on the other touchline so that the whole width of the field is covered. 2. do the same exercise the other way 3 A shot on goal and gets another rebound ball from B

  • B takes the ball with a lift and accelerates to the circle and finishes with the backhand on goal
