Hockeyexercises for technique passing
- A plays the ball to B.
- B runs in and takes the ball strongly.
- B plays the ball back to A.
- C runs up and gets a cross ball from A.
- B has run around the pawn and passes to the post.
- C passes a ball on the tip.
- B tips the ball into the goal.
- Player A passes the pawns.
- Passes hard and cleanly to player B.
- A runs away from B.
- B passes to A and the latter takes to the run.
- Brings into the circle and rounds.
Points of attention:
- Fast, hard and clean passing.
- Takeover in the run.
- Keep speed.
Possibly extend with a defender in the circle.
- On pace passes in a 3 corner.
- The 4th player runs after the ball and if they conquer it, swap with a player at a pilon.
Attention:
- Short tight passes.
- 2 touches: assumption, pass.
- Last player makes passing move and completes.
- Passing behind ball, getting off at fault.
With 3 players run up, pass and finish.
- Blue passes to red, runs after ball and connects behind red.
- Red passes to white, runs after ball and connects behind white.
- White passes to blue, runs behind ball and connects behind blue.
- And so on.
- The one with the ball on the edge of the circle rounds off.
A one-two in depth with quick passes and finishing at high pace:
- Player A plays towards player B.
- A runs deep towards the first pawn -running line-.
- B passes back to A and runs deep towards the circle -short quick action-.
- A passes back to B.
- B takes on the forehand and spins away over the opponent's backhand -pawn-.
- C sprints in towards head of circle -timing-.
- B passes towards C possibly with the backhand sweep pass.
- C takes on, brings the ball into the circle and rounds. 2 actions, ball under control and round off.
- Choose 1 warm-up exercise from the warm-up exercises.
- Flats out of the run:
- Drive the ball toward the pawn.
- Get them to shoot the ball at the goal with flats. Do this without stopping the ball.
If this is still too difficult, have them stop the ball first.
- Loafing:
- Put 1 player in the middle and 3 players at the pawns.
- They are going to pass to each other.
- The player with the ball must always have 2 passing options.
- So other players should run to the other pawn so that those play-off opportunities are there.
Start with that the loafer can only intercept the ball if a pass is given, then
you can also have the loafer take the ball away if a player gives the ball.

- Passing over through the gates:
- A starts with the ball and floats forward and pushes the ball through the gate.
- B has run along and receives the ball.
- B floats forward with the ball and plays the ball through the gate again.
- A receives the ball and scores with a flats on the goal
- Run and play the ball:
- A gives the ball, B points left or right.
- A then floats with the ball to that pawn and circles it and floats back to his starting pawn.
- A then push the ball to B.
- B then does the same thing.
- Play a match.

- Charging and Indian dribble:
- A pushes the ball to B and B rebounds the ball wide.

- Passing over the backhand side:
- The player runs towards the pawns. You can stand there as a defender.
- The player threatens to pass on the left side but then moves to the right. Have them use a Dummy or a Reverse.
- Finish with a flats on goal
- A starts with the ball and push the ball to B.
- B takes the ball open and scoops the ball to C.
- C takes the ball high and provides control.
- D runs into the depth and gets the ball in the run of C.
- D plays and 1:1 against the defender standing there. Trying to maintain speed.
- When the defender has taken the ball away, score on the goalkeeper on the side.
