Description
  • Players dribble in a rectangle with various cones.
  • They must not dribble over the cones and should avoid collisions with other players.
  • The coach gives different tasks.
Tasks
  • Dribble with the inside of the right foot.
  • Dribble with the inside of the left foot.
  • Dribble with the outside of the right foot.
  • Dribble with the outside of the left foot.
  • Dribble with the ball between both feet.
  • On signal, stop the ball with the sole and change direction.
  • On signal, dribble to a cone and turn around the cone with the ball.
Execution
  • Player 1 passes to player 2.
  • Player 2 returns the pass to player 1.
  • Player 1 plays through to player 3.
  • Player 3 returns the pass to player 2.
  • Player 2 plays to player 4.
  • Player 6 returns the pass to player 5.
  • Player 5 plays a deep pass to player 6.
  • Player 6 finishes, takes the ball, and joins player 1.

Introduction

  • This activity involves speed, agility, coordination, passing, and duels.
  • Suitable for all age groups with possible variations.
  • The FUN aspect is enjoyable for both young and old.

Execution

  • Players A start shoulder to shoulder and sprint to the cones.
  • Accelerate around the marker and move backwards to the pole.
  • Move sideways over the hurdles and then back behind the pole.
  • Accelerate forward to the furthest pole and then backwards to the other pole.
  • Player B plays a ball to A who finishes on goal.
  • The player who finishes first wins.

Variations

  • For older age groups, the loser may receive an extra task.
  • For younger age groups, points are accumulated.
  • Players switch positions after each round.
  • Player B can throw the ball so A must head it towards the goal.
Execution
  • Place 7 cones at a distance of approximately 15-20 meters from each other.
  • With a small group: one player per series of cones; with a larger group: players one behind the other.
  • Slalom at pace through the cones back and forth.
  • Stop the ball next to the cone.
  • The fastest player wins.
Variant
  • Slalom at pace through the cones, but without slalom back.
  • Stop the ball next to the cone.
  • The fastest player wins.

Dribbling exercises: circuit
  • 1.1 Dribbling around the pawns:
    • Inside foot right take two passes and inside foot left take two passes back and forth start with left and proceed to exercise 1.2.
  • 1.2 Dribbling around the pawns:
    • Outside foot on right take two passes and outside foot on left take two passes, etc.
  • 1.3 Dribble around the pawns with oblique movement:
    • Bring outside right side with you 1 touch of the ball per step.

Objective:
  • To teach building backwards in set patterns (with resistance)
Who stands where:
  • All spread out across the field, give them tips, directions, and most of all let them try to figure things out for themselves!
  • Everyone can stop the game!

  • Pressing the back, or shielding the ball line to left outside or striker

Individual
  • throwing the tennis ball up and catching it

In pairs:
  • throwing the tennis ball at each other and catching it
  • tennis ball simultaneously at each other
  • throw the tennis ball and catch it with the cone
  • shoot the tennis ball at each other and stop with the foot

  • All players run with ball on foot in a defined field. (Size depends on number of players)
  • The players, with their own ball at foot, must get the other players' ball out of the square.
  • When your ball is out of the square you leave the square and wait.
  • Whoever remains last wins
