Tennisexercises
Execution
- Obstacles are placed on the opposite side of the net.
- The players throw balls and try to knock over as many obstacles as possible.
Execution
- Place a ball on the racket of each player.
- The players try to steal each other's balls without letting their own ball fall off the racket.
- If a player's ball is stolen or falls off, they must run a lap.
- Adjust the exercise based on the age of the players.
Execution
- The players start in the middle of the court at the baseline.
- They receive a lower ball on their backhand or forehand.
- Perform a deep slice along the line.
- Follow the ball to the net and finish the volley by aiming at the tower of balls (cone).
- Practice the same on the other side or both sides simultaneously.
- 1 sequence backhand slice
- 1 sequence forehand slice
- 1 sequence backhand slice
Execution
- There are 10 cones distributed across the court.
- Players take turns attempting to hit a cone.
Execution
- The player zigzags as quickly as possible with their face towards the net between the cones.
- The next player may start when the player in front of them is halfway through.
- The trainer throws a ball forward.
- The player must hit the ball back with a forehand after one bounce at the end of their sequence, then with a backhand.
- Hop on the left or right foot.
- Circle around each cone.
- Jump over the cones with both feet.
- Same with backhand on the other side, throwing and starting.
Execution
- Place the ball on the racket and let it roll over the strings without letting it fall off.
- Keep the ball on the racket while touching the floor, sitting down, standing up, hopping, and running.
- Try to keep the racket at chest height.
- Throw the ball up with the racket and catch it again with the racket.
- Throw the ball a little in front of you, run after it, and catch it again with your racket.
- Throw the ball up, let it bounce once, and then catch it with the racket.
- Keep hitting the ball upwards without catching it and try to walk around while hitting the ball upwards.
- Who can do this without mistakes and without touching anyone?
Execution
- First, play two backhands to any spot on the opposite half of the court.
- Then, move towards the net.
- Afterwards, play two volleys.
Goal is to put 3 in a row.
- Make 2 teams
- From each team, 1 player runs with a colored hat and places it in a hoop
- When the first player returns the 2nd player of the team starts, then the 3rd.
- When there is 1 hat of each color the 4th player may move a colored hat to get 3 in a row.
You can practice the movements during a game with V drills.
See the picture for this V drill exercise.

- The player walks diagonally past the hat and hits the oncoming ball.
- Then steps backwards around the hat.
- Steps sideways back to starting point.
- Note: the face should always be toward the net.
- It is good to practice first without ball, but with racket, so that the movement goes well.
- The coach holds up two hoops at shoulder height
- The players hit soft balls aimed through the hoops.
- Lay a rope with a hat on one end.
- The players have their racquet and a balloon.
- They play the balloon up with the racket and while the balloon is in the air, they move the hat from one side of the rope to the other.
- You can make it a competition by suggesting a number of times.
At the back line, place a bin of balls.
- The players start with a ball in their hand and run to the two hats closest to the net.
- They stand still between the hats and try to throw the ball into the bucket from there.
- Successful. Then they run back to the ball pit. Grab a new ball and run to the two hats in the middle to throw the ball into the bucket again from there.
- Failed. Then they run back to the ball pit. New ball and try again on that level.
- The one who completes the three levels first wins.
