  • Players stand on the sideline, far enough away from each other.
  • At the starting signal, they start running across the width of the field 17 times.
  • Every sideline touched is +1, so they do this 17 times within a time limit.

Preparation:
  • Set up pawns to fence off the field in which to play.
  • Make two teams.
  • 1 v 1 situation.
Play:
  • If player loses the ball, the ball is intercepted, then no score 1 goal attempt.
  • If scored then attacker goes back on defense.
  • The first player in line then starts playing 1v1 and after scoring goes back on defense.
  • After defending, he or she returns to the back of the line.
At 10 points, one of the two teams has won and the other must run/push ups.

A drill for practicing the fastbreak 3 v 2 and conversion.

  • Make teams of 3 players.
  • Under each basket two defenders and 1 outlet.
  • Three men in the middle, middle man the ball.

  • 3 against 2. Team in the middle decides which way to go.
  • Apply 3 on 2 principles; pass when defended!
  • When scoring or rebounding pass the ball to outlet as soon as possible.
  • LEFT and RIGHT organization.
Team with first 7 scores wins; losers run suicides.

  • Coach passes the ball to a player.
  • 2 close defenders double-team him,
  • Remaining 2 split between the 3 attackers.
Reaction and rotatation are very important.

Ball comes back to 1 and he runs layup, number 3 becomes 1 and 4 becomes 2.

  • On signal they sprint to baseline backwards.
  • Penalty line sprints forward but taps baseline first.

  • The group is divided into 2 groups each at a ring
  • The first player of the group attacks the first cone, where he does a change of direction (variation).
  • Thus to the next cone where he repeats this until he reaches the ring on the other side, where he finishes according to the indicated variation.

  • The team is divided into two groups and set up on the sideline at the height of the center line.
  • 1 blue player stands ready to defend
  • 2 red players are ready to attack
  • When the first red player crosses the center line, the second blue player who is still standing on the sideline has to go around the cone before he can help defending.
  • In the meantime, the next red player gets ready to defend.
  • After scoring or capturing the ball, the 2 blue players attack.
  • The 2 red attacking players line up on the sideline.

Putting down pylons (zig/zag to centerline)
  • Defensive slides to center line
  • Sprint to back line
  • Run out on back line
  • Sprint to center line and run out to back line.

Set-up:
  •  Possibly set up on 2 sides and against each other
  •  Then: zig/zag, sprint back and forth and zig/zag again.)
  •  Possibly with ball (slalom)
  • 2 rows on baseline.
  • Runs around trainer and scores close the ring on other side.
  • Further and further, shoot from penalty throw line

  • A team of 3 will shoot through 5 spots along the 3 point line.
  • If you hit 2 in a row you may move on to the next position.
  • When you miss 2 you go back one position. Balls are with the other players who rebound, there is 1 passer.
  • 3v3, trainer passes to one side of 3-point.
  • Shutter shoots and as soon as ball is loose everyone may rebound.
  • If shot is made then 3 points, but play continues until a rebound is taken.
  • On offensive rebounds 3v3 may be played on defensive rebounds there is a switch.
  • Each rebound is 1 point. Field score is 2 points
