Handballexercises for technique warming-up

  • Players walk in a line.
  • The one at the back catches up with everyone else until he/she is at the front.
  • Then the next one who runs behind moves to the front.

  • Players walk in a line with 1 meter distance from each other.
  • The one running last sprints forward slaloming between everyone until he/she is in front.
  • Then the next one running behind goes.

  • All players line up about 1 arm's length away and with their legs wide.
  • The 1st player rolls the ball between the legs of the rest to the last player.
  • This one dribbles forward between everyone and then rolls the ball backwards.

  • Make 2 teams.
  • Each team defends a mat. You try as a team to put the ball on the mat.
  • You may not tip or bounce.
  • Ball catch in stoppage is ball for the opposing team.
  • Each ball on the mat is a point.
  • 2 rows at the 6 a 7 meter line.
  • Everyone has a ball.
  • In the middle are 10 balls.
  • Take turns passing the ball to the goalkeeper and throwing it in.
  • Quickly around the pawn and back to build-up position.

  • All kids dribble within the 9 meters, one tickler also dribbles, with ribbon.
  • The one who is tagged freezes, and dribbles on the spot with both hands - left - right - left - right
  • If another player crawls under the legs, the frozen player is free again.
  • Watch out for your head! ;-)
2 or 3 players per position.
Hats at start and end point.
  • Player goes across in backward crab position with ball on belly.
  • Plays the ball back to the next and joins the line again

"There is 1 loose rabbit and 1 hunter.
The hunter tries to tap the loose rabbit. That rabbit may lie down next to a pair, turning the outer player into a hunter, and the hunter into a rabbit.

  • Warm up with arm twist.
  • Walking on heels.
  • Walk on forefoot.
  • Calf muscles: 2 legs up from toes, 2 sacks/1 sacks - steps.
  • Stretch: 1 leg forward, other leg slightly bent. Touch stretched leg.
  • Crab pose: turn leg inward and outward.
  • Push-up.
Course of exercise:
  • Twosome starts with the ball;
    • A throws to B;
    • A runs to the position of B;
    • B throws ball to other player at position A.
Assignment form:
  • Form two groups of three people;
    • Each group a ball.
Example form:
  • Preform the exercises you give so participants understand.
Observation Form:
  • See if the participants are throwing into their hands;
  • See if participants are doing the exercise easily:
    • Increase the distance or decrease the distance between the players.
Coaching Form:
  • Play the ball into the other person's hands;
    • Step out the moment you throw the ball.

  • Slowly jog across the field, arms forward, backward, twisting against each other.
  • Lunges, gently controlled, front lower leg well straight.
  • Arms crossed in front of chest, alternating between up and down.
  • Arms above head, interlock fingers, extend arms. Bend slightly to the left and right.
  • Eagle. Arms wide and hands up. Stand up straight. 90 degree turn left, back, 90 degree turn right, back.
  • 2 teams - 2 mats (or 2 or 3 bicycle tyres) - many balls
  • Line up 10 metres apart, with a mat on each side and balls on the mats.
  • Teams take the balls and dribble to their own side as fast as they can.
  • Who has all the balls wins. (Good luck ;-)
