With 3 players run up, pass and finish.

  • Blue passes to red, runs after ball and connects behind red.
  • Red passes to white, runs after ball and connects behind white.
  • White passes to blue, runs behind ball and connects behind blue.
  • And so on.
  • The one with the ball on the edge of the circle rounds off.

A one-two in depth with quick passes and finishing at high pace:

  • Player A plays towards player B.
  • A runs deep towards the first pawn -running line-.
  • B passes back to A and runs deep towards the circle -short quick action-.
  • A passes back to B.
  • B takes on the forehand and spins away over the opponent's backhand -pawn-.
  • C sprints in towards head of circle -timing-.
  • B passes towards C possibly with the backhand sweep pass.
  • C takes on, brings the ball into the circle and rounds. 2 actions, ball under control and round off.

Exercise 1

  • A begins by slaloming at pace. Looks through the pawns to the end which way the trainer sticks out his stick and accelerates in that direction.
  • If you are going to round left with backhand on goal.
  • If you are going to round off on the right with forehand on goal.
Exercise 2

  • Improve the scoop.

  • A starts with the ball and pushes the ball to B.
  • B takes open tackle and hits the ball to C.
  • C takes the ball on gives a scoop to D.
  • D gives a flat to E and plays a 2:1 with F together and wants to score on the big goal.
  • Defender wants to take the ball away and score in the small goal on the side.

  • A passes the ball back to B.
  • Then the 2:1 starts.
  • A and B want to score on the big goal.
  • The defender wants to make sure that the pass line is closed in order to conquer the ball.
  • The ball back is left open, of course, which is always allowed.

Divide the group into 2 groups

  • One group starts in the box and so start to put pressure on the players already in the field.
  • The players who are already in the field want to move the ball through the bowl and score in the goals on the sides.
  • The players in the box may not leave the box until the ball has been thrown to one of the defenders.

  • A starts with the ball and push the ball to B.
  • B takes the ball open and scoops the ball to C.
  • C takes the ball high and provides control.
  • D runs into the depth and gets the ball in the run of C.
  • D plays and 1:1 against the defender standing there. Trying to maintain speed.
  • When the defender has taken the ball away, score on the goalkeeper on the side.

Exercise 1: 
  • A stands in the middle of the circle and gets start 4 balls to round off on goal.
  • Ball 1: B passes the ball to A, A takes it and rounds off with the forehand stroke.
  • Ball 2: A immediately turns around and receives the ball from C exactly along the pawns so that A can elevator the ball over the pawns and then rounds with the backhand on goal.
  • Ball 3: A turns back immediately and receives a hard ball from D which she elevators over the pawns by placing her stick in front of the pawns and finishes with the forehand strike on goal.
  • Ball 4: Turns right back and receives a hard ball from E which she takes closed and then turns away to her backhand and finishes with the backhand on goal.
Exercise 2:
Play possession with communication as the focus.
  • Give 1 player on each team the lead to direct possession of the ball.
  • The players listen to the instructions of these players.

  • A starts with the ball and gives a lift pass to B.
  • B takes the ball and gives a lift pass towards C.
  • C takes the ball strongly and passes it to the run-through A.
  • A takes the ball and has a hard pass towards the goal.
  • D comes running in towards the Hot Box and gets the tip-in ball.

  • A starts with the ball and passes the ball to B.
  • B takes the ball and passes it to C.
  • C takes the ball and passes it wide to the run-through A.
  • A receives the ball and then a 3:2 starts against the defenders who started in the circle and who may step out when C has taken the ball.
  • Attackers score on the big goal.
  • Defenders score in the little goal near the sideline.

  • A starts with the ball and passes the ball into the run of B who comes forward to offer.
  • B takes the ball with the backhand and accelerates around the pawns.
  • B passes the ball on the run to C who comes running in forward.
  • C takes the ball and passes it forward to the runner-up B with a lift pass.
  • C receives the ball with the backhand and accelerates around the pawns and passes to the runner A.
  • A receives the ball and turns to her backhand and finishes with a backhand strike on goal.

  • A starts with the ball and runs up a bit.
  • B starts running at the same time and A gives a pass into B's run.
  • When A has given the pass then the tackle back runner may start running.
  • A and B want to score on the goal together.
  • The defenders want to defend the ball out to the outside.
