Korfball drills for technique passing / attack

  • You make a 2-team.
  • To begin the exercise, stand side by side on the sideline, one runner and one with the ball.
  • The idea is to throw a long ball into the hands of your teammate.
  • One player stands with the ball and the other player runs in depth. The runner runs about 4 to 5 yards and then the ball is thrown.
  • The ball is thrown as tightly as possible in the run to the fellow player.
  • The runner throws the ball back and runs back to sideline.
  • You do this 3 times and then switch positions.
  • Offender stands under the post.
  • Attacker at 8 meters in front of the post runs to the left.
  • Receives ball on outside hand.
  • Immediately plays in with outer hand.
  • Then goes to the right.
  • Repeat the same thing.
  • On the 5th back and forth, attacker goes inside.
  • For a DLB or short chance in front of or behind the basket.
  • You are going to throw up from 2 meters distance
  • If you get it right 10 times, step back to a certain point
  • Then you go back and throw on 1 leg

then go back to the right and take a through ball.
score 10 distance shots from the left and 10 from the right.

You can also emphasize the through ball with this exercise with the assignment, score 20 through balls over the right and 20 over the left
Or shot at 1 and through ball at the other hat.

Player A cuts inside to take a through ball and Player B throws it to him/her. Player A catches his/her own ball and moves to Player B's position, etc.

To make it tougher, you can have the person indicating the ball catch it himself/herself.

Ball tight to shooter and take the shot.
Change after 3 attempts.
  • Watch the defender. How does she stand?
  • Where should you place? Off the line of the defender on the shooter's outside hand.
  • With what pace should you pass the ball?
Score 10 goals together.
  • The player with the ball has a defender trying to intercept the ball.
  • The attacker plays with the 3 others and with as little running as possible tries to pass the ball with the 3 helpers for 1 minute.
  • The ball may be in the hands of a player for max 3 seconds.

  • Blue player with ball plays the ball to outrunning player under the post.
  • Then this one runs with it himself, gets the ball back and shoots.
  • The front player goes to the back and the back player to the front.
  • The red player in the diagonal catches and plays to red in front of the basket.
  • This one runs out, gets the ball back and plays back to the running red player, this one shoots and the blue player catches.
  • Again, the players switch positions.

  • You have 5 active attackers in the field, 4 attackers and 1 defender.
  • The 4 attackers throw over and stay in motion, ball in hand is staying still.
  • The scapegoat may tap the person with the ball notThe attacker must look where the catcher is going and throw the ball.
  • The ball must be held as short as possible.
  • When one of the attackers is tagged, they change function (attacker becomes tag, and the tag becomes attacker).
  • Bottle football only throwing.
  • For each player there is one bottle filled with water.
  • You choose a teammate against whom you want to play and so put the two bottles opposite each other with a few meters distance. (The further apart they are, the more difficult).
  • You try to knock over your opponent's bottle.
  • If you succeed, your opponent must first take the ball and only then can you put the bottle back up.
  • You win if your opponent's bottle is empty.

Rules

  • We play in excess for attack.
  • Per 3 or 5 on a pole. (When there are enough exercises, 7 or 8 on a pole is also possible).
  • The goal is not to stay in the same place, so move around a lot and get in shooting position as much as possible.
  • Use all the space around the basket.


Task 1:

  • Player 1 is the attacker, player 2 and 3 stand around the basket.
  • Player 1 plays player 2, and goes out.
  • Player 2 passes the ball on to player 3 who shoots.
  • Player 2 cuts in to catch the ball.
  • After catching, you again play to the shooter, who in turn plays to the next one to get a shot, etc.


Task 2:

  • All players stand around the basket and start playing.
  • Move after passing.


Task 3:

  • All players stand around the basket and start playing.
  • Move after passing. (even when you are in the support).
  • Aim to score and not because you are free.


Task 4:

  • All players stand around the basket and start playing.
  • Cross every time after passing. (play with 3 attackers).
  • Get ready to score.


Task 5:

  • Play with support, but it is filled in by someone else after each pass.
  • Round 1:
    • Blue passes to red, blue sprints in for support and gets the ball back.
    • Red takes ball. (10 score)
  • Round 2:
    • Ditto as round 1:
      • But red does not take a pass but passes to blue for a short chance. (10 score)
  • Round 3:
    • 1 couple starts already under the basket.
    • Blue passes to red, runs towards red for double and then runs long line.
    • Rebound steps in front of red so that blue can step inside for a walkthrough.
    • Red has taken over the rebound.
  • Round 4:
    • Blue passes to red, runs towards red for double and then long line at shot distance.
    • Red throws to blue for a shot and catches it.
  • Round 5:
    • Same as round 4: but blue doesn't get a shot, red connects and shoots.
    • Blue catches.
