Volleyball drills for technique system
- The attack comes from the right
- Block the middle and the diagonal, the outside attacker comes to the middle, the upper comes forward
- The trainer hits the ball, we go to our positions, and defend the trainer's ball.
- We keep rotating a spot.
- The remaining players defend for themselves and put the ball in the cart.
- select by putting the better players on field 1, increasing to field 6
- first cooperate: who reaches the first 7x in a row (do 2x)

- field 1 = winner, field 6 = loser

- on field 3 and 4: catch-throw movement, 3x overarm, touch end line
- on field 1 and 2: serve (or catch-throw movement, if it is not working), play overarm 1x, play 1x or 2x overarm
- trainer throws ball to centre player
- Who passes to SV
- SV sets up
- Attacker plays ball SLIM over the net
- so right over the net
- OR in the back of the field in the corners
- OPTION: the new playmaker calls HOOP (=wrong) or GOOD (=good) after the smart ball of the attacker
- Attacker gets the ball and puts it in the box at trainer
- Everybody keeps rotating one spot (walks after own ball)
- Possibly place hoops (= opponents) where theyshould not play
- Keep giving directions

- player with balls throws to centre forward
- mid forward sets up HIGH
- left forward attacks
- if hitting does not work: play SMARTLY over the net
- if the ball hits the ground in the field, you score a point
- defenders try to prevent this.
- everybody keeps rotating
- server becomes playmaker
- playmaker joins line attackers
- attacker goes underneath the net and becomes 1st defender
- 2nd defender takes ball, goes underneath net and joins line with servers
- 2 against 2 with fixed passeur on smaller field (not half)
- Winner of the rally goes under the net and stays there until lost.
- Passeur goes under the net every time it is passed.
- A throws/serves at B
- B plays at C
- C sets up and B plays over the net
- Run after own ball
Setup exercise:
- Set up in normal position
- Ball is played up to 3; he calls 'in front of back'
- Attackers home
- Trainer calls street or slide -inverted-
- Player hits or tips the mat
On the other side of the net, the other players are lined up -in the picture it is 2 players- these have the ball cart and play the ball up, catch the attack and defend. The game is played on!
Team setup:
- High tempo of attacks
- Always choose position
- Attack looks carefully to see if team is in position
- Two teams
- Rally game
- Not just playing on your own position
- Ball over the net, rotate through one position
- Filling all positions
- Construction
- At one end directed pass
- Running into the pass door
The goal is to look at the block setting and set it properly.
