Warm-up with various exercises

drawing Warm-up with various exercises
Exercise 1: Cooperation with Ball and Hoop
  • A sits on a chair, B has a ball and bounces it while walking forward. A catches the ball and throws it up for B. B plays the ball overhead backwards. Meanwhile, A stands up, walks backwards, and picks up a hoop. A places the hoop down so that the ball bounces into it. B expands the exercise by passing the ball while standing in the hoop. A returns the ball (overhead or underhand) and B catches the ball while sitting on the chair. A performs an attack by playing the ball back to B, who is sitting on the chair.
Exercise 2: Cones and Ball Cart
  • Place a ball cart in the middle of the court. Each player has a cone and stands at the net. Each time a cone lands in the cart, the player moves to the next sideline. Once all sidelines are completed, the last stop is as far back as possible behind the end line, from the wall.
Exercise 3: Sit-ups and Blocking
  • A has a ball and a cone, B stands at the net, C has a cart. While A starts, C does 5 sit-ups and B performs a block. A bounces the ball to B and also throws the cone to B. B catches the cone and plays the ball overhead to A, who has meanwhile walked to the net. A plays the ball over to the cart and C moves the cart to make this possible. The players rotate each time.
Exercise 4: Ball and Stick Rotation
  • A and B have a ball and a stick. Throw the ball high and rotate the stick under the ball each time. Try to let the ball pass under the stick as much as possible.
Exercise 5: Core Stability
  • Each player has 2 tennis balls and 2 cones where the balls can rest. In a prone position, players exchange the balls 8 times in 30 seconds.
Exercise 6: Reaction and Hip Rotation
  • Work in pairs with two tennis balls. Stand together in a shuffle step and alternately perform a hip rotation. Player A holds the tennis balls in their hands, player B places their hands on top of A's. A drops the balls and B tries to catch them.
