Korfballexercises

Objective
  • Score in one attempt in the other field within the lines.
Execution
  • Two teams of up to four people.
  • One ball.
  • Two people stand in the field on each side, other players stand behind the baseline.
Rules
  • Start with a simple underhand serve.
  • We play underhand tennis, so the ball must go over the net in one attempt.
  • A difficult ball may bounce once but must then be returned with: one hand, a foot, or the head.
  • In case of an error: the player leaves the field to the baseline and a new player takes over.
Execution
  • Sprint around the cones.
  • Always through the middle cone.
Game Explanation
  • There is one tagger, and the rest of the players try to grab the elastic bands and eventually the tennis ball along two sides of the square.
  • If the tagger tags you, you must put the elastic band back and try again.
Variations
  • Make the game more challenging by removing the player who is tagged from the game.
  • Enlarge the square to make the game easier.
Execution
  • Place three cones in a row.
  • The players work in pairs or groups of three.
  • The ball is placed progressively further on the hoop.
  • When the ball is on the cone, a player must run behind it and return the ball to the other player.
  • The other player can then place the ball further.
Execution
  • The player jumps over the hurdle and then jumps from where they stand with one leg into the hoop and back for the next hurdle. Repeat this to the end.
  • Jump sideways over the hurdle and then jump with one leg into the two hoops.
  • When you reach the outer hoop, jump over the hoop back next to the hurdle.
  • Jump sideways over one hurdle and back.
  • With one large step, jump to the other hurdle and jump back over and back.
  • Then sprint to the cone and subsequently over the ladder.
Execution
  • The players run around the circle.
  • Inside the circle, there are several balls, one fewer than the number of players.
  • When the trainer shouts "YES", the players grab a ball as quickly as possible.
  • The player who scores two goals first wins.
  • The player without a ball continues running until someone finishes shooting.
Setup
  • 1 attacker and 1 defender stand in one quarter of the field.
  • The other 3 attackers and defenders also stand in their own quarters.
Rules
  • Attackers may only stand in one box, together with their defender.
  • There may never be two attackers in one box at the same time.
Execution
  • Play 4-0 and switch boxes after each pass by the player who threw the ball.
  • Optionally expand to 3-1 if it is too challenging, by setting up a rebound or a feed, for example.
drawing Box game 4-0
Execution
  • Divide the players into groups of 2 or 3 and position them on the left side of the field.
  • Give each player a tennis ball.
  • At the start signal, the first player from each group runs with a ball to the right side of the field.
  • Upon reaching the other side, the player places the ball outside the line and runs back as quickly as possible.
  • The next player in the group repeats the action with his or her ball.
  • When all the balls are on the right side and the last player is back with the group, the relay is finished.
  • The group whose last player returns first wins.
Execution
  • Position the players in a line next to each other.
  • Place a tennis ball on the ground approximately 1 metre in front of them.
  • Have them stand with their feet slightly apart.
  • Quick jogging - dribbling - on the spot.
Instructions
  • On the trainer's signal, while dribbling, they should:
  • Hands on knees.
  • Hands on toes.
  • Hands on shoulders.
  • Hands forward.
  • Hands in the air.
  • When the trainer shouts "Ball!", they should grab the ball as quickly as possible.
  • Repeat and mix up the commands for variety.
Running-in Shot and Shot
  • Work in groups of three or pairs at the korf.
  • One person works for 2 minutes, two people for the rebound.
  • Cones are placed in a square around the korf, at a distance of 4 metres.
  • Player 1 starts at the first cone, runs inside for a running-in shot.
  • Then proceed to the second cone for a shot.
  • Go to the third cone for a running-in shot, and so on.
  • After 1 minute, the player switches.
Feint Shots
  • Take feint shots for 2 minutes.
  • Two feeders, each with a ball.
  • After 2 minutes, one of the others becomes the shooter.
  • Who among the trio is the best shooter? Optionally, a second turn to improve.
Passing and Sprinting
  • Players stand in pairs, 12 metres apart.
  • Throw the ball across to the other side and sprint after the ball.
  • Repeat 10 times per person.

Setup
  • Divide the players into two teams.
  • Create two zones around the korf for shots from the outside.
  • Each game requires 3 or 4 balls.
  • Shooters stand outside the zone and each team has a rebounder inside the zone with the opponent's shooters.
Execution
  • The shooters attempt to shoot from outside the zone to score a certain number of goals as quickly as possible.
  • Rebounders catch the ball and pass it to their teammates in the other zone.
  • The team that first reaches the agreed number of goals wins.
Rules
  • Rebounders may not leave the zone, and shooters may not enter it.
  • The rebounder must quickly assess where the balls are coming and efficiently pass them to teammates.
drawing Shooting in two zones

  • The team that knocks over the most cones of the opponent wins.
