Soccer drills for technique attack / offense

  • duration: 
    • 20 min
  • Distance: 
    • Red to blue pylon 10 meters. 
    • Between blue and blue 5 meters.
    • Width 15 meters. (depending on number of players)
  • Execution: 
    • 3 men play the ball around and try to get the ball to the other box. 
    • The blue players stand with 2 men in one box.
    • 1 in the blue square to cut the pass line. 
    • If the ball is in the other box, the man in the blue box moves on.
    • Then another player of blue takes over this position.
    • Play ball to other box= 1 point.
    • Between 2 players = 2 points. 
    • Blue takes the ball away = 1 point.
    • Switch after +- 3 min

  • Execution: 
    • Defenders start next to the goal. 
    • They play to the middle attacker.
    • Then run into the 16 meters for defense. 
    • First keep a fixed group of attackers and defenders.
    • Change after a few minutes
  • Coaching moment: 
    • Attackers 
      • Remain playable in 3 angles
      • Right time through-ball
    • Defenders 
      • Compact together
      • Provide back coverage

  • Execution: 
    • Everyone has his position and his direct opponent. 
    • If you have the ball, you screen the ball
    • Then drop it on incoming player and build up to goal.

    • Make walking action at the right time. 
    • Dare to play forwards.

  • Playing soccer after throwing in via handball (and opening other side).
  • First attacking 
  • Then change of sides
  • attack: 
    • A throws in on B 
    • B comes in front of the defender and plays / bounces on A
    • A responds directly to C
    • C scores
  • Change of sides: 
    • A throws in on B 
    • B comes in front of the defender and plays / bounces on A
    • A responds directly to C 
    • C opens on D
    • D pulls back line and moves forward 
    • A and C try to score
  • Duration: 
    • 20 min
  • Distance: 
    • box 10 by 10 meters 
    • goals 3-1 in the middle of the line
  • Execution: 
    • 2 to 3
    • Middle player of 3 starts on the same line as defenders. 
    • The builders are required to play the middle player first. 
    • Then build up to a goal.
    • Game is over when one of the 2 parties has scored or the ball is out of the field. 
    • After that, switch positions 
  • Coach moment: 
    • Center player comes loose and shields the ball well.
    • Play short combinations so that the other player can act immediately.

  • Player 2 bounces back on player 1

  • Meanwhile, player 2 walks to the 16 meter line
  • Player 3 moves wide, player 2 moves round

  • Player 2 (who has completed) takes ball and joins row of player 1 (start)

  • Player 2 turns open and gives depth pass to back line.
  • Player 1 sprints deep to depth pass and gives a cross to the edge of the box.
  • Player 3 communicates/calls and catches this pass (or takes or rounds immediately).

  • Find the players at the side to play a first-time ball.
  • Create a wide field.
  • Mandatory passing to the players at the side if one wants to get in scoring position.
  • 1 field on plain 3*1 yellow goal 4 against 4 with 2 players at the side (double formation).

  • Player 1 stands on the edge of the 16 meter / 11 meter dot (depending on the level of the players)
  • Player 2 stands on the edge of the centre circle and plays the ball in on player 1.
  • Player 1 plays the ball to player 2.
  • Player 2 shoots at goal.
  • We'll start with number one.
  • - Number 1 plays number 2.
  • - Number 2 plays the ball back to 1.
  • - Number 1 sends number 3 away towards the back line.
  • - Number 3 gives the ball so number 4 can finish.

1 goes to 2

2 goes to 3

3 goes to 4

  • number 1 plays number 2.
  • number 2 plays the ball back to 1
  • 1 puts the ball in between 5 and 6. 
  • 5 plays to 6 
  • 6 puts him ready for 2 so he can finish on goal
  • make a field about a quarter of a quarter.
  • Set two small goals opposite each other. Divide the players over the two goals. (With many players you can make two squares)
  • One party has the ball and plays over to the other side.
  • Then the 1 v 1 starts.
  • One side has to attack and defend the other. 
  • It is only allowed to shoot from the pilons towards the goal.
  • If the defending party picks up the ball, the roles can be reversed.
  • By playing this game quickly you practice passing, controlling, attacking, defending.
  • But also on fast shifting, perseverance and insight.
