Soccer drills for technique dribbling
In King Football, the players learn to pass well.
- 2 teams
- Per team 1 King
- 1 ball per team. (variation 1 ball if a game is played)
- The teams move in the field in a square.
- The intention is that the ball is played over 3 times within your own team and then shot to the King.
- When the King takes it, there is a point for that team.
- First, they practise within the team and then they play against each other.
- When the ball is taken away, it has to be counted again.
- Player 1 and Player 2 start dribbling at the same time.
- At the end they pass through pawns to the other side.
- The next player receives the ball and starts dribbling.
- Player 1 passes the ball to player 2.
- Player 2 dribbles along the pylons, passes at the end to player 3.
- Player 3 bounces the ball back to player 2, player 2 finishes.
- Player 3 fetches the ball,
- Runs over to stand on the spot of Player 1
- Player 1 to Player 2,
- Player 2 to Player 3.
- Player 1 does exercises on the ladder
- At the end of the ladder is a ball
- With the ball he dribbles along pylons that are wide spread (conditioning)
- At the last pylon he shoots at a small goal
- Get your own ball, shoot back to the end of the ladder
- If player 1 is at the end of the ladder, player 2 can begin
- Player 1 starts dribbling along 5 hats
- Then plays player 2 who waits by hat
- Player 2 bounces the ball back on player 1
- Player 1 finishes.
- Player 2 fetches ball and joins the back of the line
- Player 1 runs to the pylon to bounce the ball back
- Dribble in large square
- Make small squares on the outside corners
- Name the small squares
- When calling the name, everyone must dribble to that square
- Eventually you can work with a knockout system, so that the last 2 get eliminated.
Organization:
There will be played 8 against 4.
6:3, 7:3, 7:4, 9:4 or 9:5 is also possible.
With more or less players the dimensions have to be adjusted.
The 8 may score after 5 passes.
The 4 may always try to score.
If the ball is intercepted by the 4, if the ball goes out or after scoring, there must be counted again.
After, in total, 5 goals or after 10 minutes, teams are switched
To make it easier or more difficult, the number of replaying can be changed.
Points of attention:
Use the left and right foot.
If possible keep the ball low
Assuming the right foot.
Correct ball speed.
Direct play.
- Find the players at the side to play a first-time ball.
- Create a wide field.
- Mandatory passing to the players at the side if one wants to get in scoring position.
- 1 field on plain 3*1 yellow goal 4 against 4 with 2 players at the side (double formation).
- This exercise contains a number of exercises.
- Looking over the shoulder
- Passing
- Direction change
- Feint
- Finish
- Players must learn to look over their shoulders when they leave the ladder.
- The trainer stands behind the ladder and puts a yellow or red cone in the air.
- Based on this, the exercise is chosen.
- Red:
- Player 2 plays in and player 1 takes the ball
- Feint and finish on mini target
- Player 2 responds to player 1
- He runs back around cone and call back
- Player 2 plays again
- Runs further and finishes on target
- Player 2 can play either 1x or 2x
- Change position 1 -> 2.
This exercise can be used for each category in the warm-up.
- Both players A lead the ball to the middle pilon where they perform a chop and then play the ball to the next player.
- After the pass, the player runs diagonally to player B who throws in the ball and players A heads it in the goal.
- The player that performed the header then takes the ball and stands behind goal,
- The other player joins the group that has to perform the movement
- Put out a square with caps
- Two opposite sides are multiple caps in a row.
- On the first side the caps must be dribbled around, on the second side the player must float the ball to the next corner.
- then dribble around the caps at the next corner.
- Vary with inside foot and outside foot
- player sprints to the ball (A)
- he dribbles it to A1 where he leaves the ball.
- at a steady pace to the sideline to get back to A1.
- From A1, he sprints to the ball that is behind the pilon at A.
- He dribbles to A2 where he leaves the ball.
- So on to c2.
- The goalkeeper rolls the ball towards the goalkeeper and then finishes at goal. Try to take and shoot once.
