Volleyball drills for technique attack / smash / spike / hitting
Place the thick mat against the net (for large groups, 2 mats).
- The attackers must hit their attack against the thick mat. The defenders should be behind the attacker to defend the ball.
- The attacker "pokes" the ball over the block. The defence passes the ball to themselves
- Teams of 3 or 4 players.
- One team on each side of the net.
- One court is the winners court (Kings Court).
- From the other court is served.
- The team that wins the point goes to, or stays on, the winners court.
- The losing team leaves the court and is replaced by a new team who will also serve.
- (be ready with a ball !).
- Only self made points from Kings Court count.
- Try to serve the pawns from the bank. Team that empties the bank first wins
- 2 rows, back left and back right, 1 without ball (front), rest with ball.
- 2 players at the net, front left and front right
- Player 1 row left throws the ball in the middle,
- Player 1 row right passes BH to left front, then from left to right.
- After that, BH passes, tap player before the ball is there
- Afterwards BH, player may attack
- 2 players at the 7 meter line and a SV at the net.
- 1 server on RA, someone on LA and a blocker at the net.
- Server serves to the 2 people across the court.
- They pass to the SV who gives a 3-meter ball or a ball at the net (discuss what you want).
- The blocker tries to block the ball.
- The server passes after the serve and plays out the attack (if possible).
- this is an exercise in a kind of game form. In the opposite field a bench (or cupboard) has to be placed with a number of pylons standing on it.
- Children stand divided:
- in a line with the trainer with a ball in their hands (1);
- at the mv position (2);
- at the left front (side) position (3);
- 2 children behind the bench/cabinet to catch the balls (4);
- after play passing from 1 to 2 to 3 to 1
- child 1 gives the ball to the trainer who passes the ball to child 2
- child 2 gives a setup on the outside to child 3
- child 3 plays the ball brace over the net and tries to get as many pylons off the bench as possible
- after child 3 has played the ball, the ball is turned over.
(extension > hitting the ball)
Which team has hit/played the most pylons off the bench after X number of minutes?
- Everyone on one position, we don't play center.
- Basically you play a small game, with only rallies.
- At each round you walk the lines as an outside attacker, walk from the front of the net to the three meter line to defend the balls within the three meter.
- At every rally that goes well over the net, you rotate one spot.
When playing pass mid:
- Row of attackers on outside (left and right), and row in the middle
- Row middle throws ball to SV
- SV alternating set up to left and right
- Attack, fetch ball and connect in the middle
- If pass right, same but pass from right, attacking from mid and outside
- Player saves
- Reception is made --> pass given
- Attack --> block/ defense
- Turn through --> block stays for a moment (service - 1 - 6 - 5 - (reserve) - 4 - service)
- Receptionists line up with 3 in the backfield.
- From the other side there is a save, emphasis is on reception and attack, not difficult save.
- Ball is played centrally to playmaker, pass goes to position 4 or 2.
- After the attack move to the serve. First server replaces the player who took the reception.
- Expansion :
- Playmaker at the net in combination with opposit or central striker.
PURPOSE

- place 2 skirting boards.
- start as low as possible (1 layer)
- Skirting boards one 'attack run' apart.
- if necessary put down hoops
- they jump with 2 legs onthe first skirting and land with both handsup
- off the skirting board and then an attack run on the 2nd skirting board
- short, long, connect, drop off. (rhythm: 1....2.3)

- finish on the skirting-board with both hands in the air (if necessary, clap your hands)
- after that 2 block jumps at the net.
- Pay attention to side steps

- Get the ball and put it in the bin.
- Join the back of the line for jumping
