Volleyball drills for technique defense / passing / digging / diving / reception
- Trainer stands on position 3 at the net.
- Players enter the field in threes on the same side of the net.
- On position 1, 6 and 5, where they stand in the usual defense position.
- 1 person of the trio plays the ball to the trainer, and trainer taps / hits / plays a ball into the field.
- Players must keep ball off the ground and continuously play back to trainer.
- Rally continues until ball falls to ground, then other trio turns in.
- Side a: 1 person on position 5 and 1 person on position 6 & 1 server on position 1 and 1 server on position 5
- Side b: 1 person on position 5 and 1 person on position 6 & 1 server on position 1 and 1 server on position 5
- Catch the ball: person who did not receive the ball
- The players take turns to save to the positions
- Every (approx.) 5' we change
- Side a: 1 person on position 6 and 1 person on position 1 & 1 server on position 1 and 1 server on position 5
- Side b: 1 person on position 6 and 1 person position 1 & 1 server on position 1 and 1 server on position 5
- Catch the ball: person who did not receive the ball
- The players take turns to save to their positions

- Continued from Correction in attack pass - at lesser set up
- Player falls on lesser set up- stays hanging/out of net/out of aerial.
- set-up is given either on position 2 or 4
- The defense adjusts its view to the angle of the attack.
- phase 1: without blocking - defend the ball from being hit freely
- phase 2: with blocking attention on the defense position - one of the attackers goes on the ball
- one of the attackers is going to block on the middle position.
- Player A throws the ball OH over the net to player B, towards the hoop.
- Player B plays the ball OH to player 3, who stands on the cupboard to catch the ball.
- When the balls arrive correctly, 2 teams play against each other - for the fastest 7 good combinations.
- Exercise in competition form, 2 teams of 3 players against each other.
- 3 contacts before the ball is played over the net.
- First contact is OH reception, second contact may be played with replacement technique (unlike normal first contact).
- Replacement technique goes to SV.
- SV makes high pass, which is tested over.

- Four on the back line they play the ball back to the one person at the net each time.

- Start simple by first playing the ball up in front of yourself and then serving one of the other two players.

C attacks diagonally on 3 and 4- 1 and 2 after the block attack
3 and 4 defend, playmaker comes in
set-up to 1,2 or 3, attack to 3 defenders.
These defend for themselves and put the ball in the box.
- C throws a ball to A or B
- Set up a block on that side
- Pass the ball over the block to the defence
- Build up an attack on the middle
- Change after 10 balls
- Variation: attacking outside or behind
- Make two teams and two goals from cones.
- The ball has to stay low to the ground so sit low and then play the ball with your flat hand.
- Who first scores a goal.
- Stop after about 15 minutes.
- Then record the score who has scored the most has won.
- Five players at the net with a ball...
- 2 on pos, 2 --- 1 on pos. 3 --- 2 on pos.4
- Rest without the ball on position 5
- Pos. 2 hits the first defender on pos. 5, who runs in for a defensive ball on pos. 6 and with a shuffle to pos.
- 1 to defend a batted ball from pos. 4.
- Pos 2 and 4 take turns hitting.
- Defenders continue to defend.
