Objective:
  • Mimic build-up phase as much as possible (to your own understanding)
  • Put pressure, improve communication with each other
  • Create overtalls in the attacking phase
  • Players stand in a circle
  • A player stands in the middle
  • Players in the circle play the ball around with good passes and checks
  • If the player in the middle intercepts the ball, we switch monsters
Keeper:
  • jumps over cones (with intermediate jump)
  • jumps over cones with knees high
  • goes sideways between cones
  • on 1 leg over cones
Trainer gives ball:

Objective:
  • To teach building backwards in set patterns (with resistance)

Who stands where:
  • All spread out across the field, give them tips, directions, and most of all let them try to figure things out for themselves!
  • Everyone can stop the game!
Exercise:
  • B plays on A
  • B puts pressure on A
  • A dribbles a little bit, gives good ball to C
  • C plays on D
  • D plays on E
  • E rebounds or turns and finishes
  • D passes to C
  • C finishes
Variation possible due to previous agreements, and depending on defender ( see below)

Task defender: ( jayden - Jelle/ Lucas alternate together)
  • Defender chooses way of putting pressure.
  • Pressing the back, or shielding the ball line to left outside or striker
Swap through:
  • Swap to the next Pylon

Coaching:
  • Movement without Ball
  • Good leg and tight passing
  • Coach each other by shouting name
  • Let them make choices and mistakes

Individual

In pairs:
  • throwing the tennis ball at each other and catching it
  • tennis ball simultaneously at each other
  • throw the tennis ball and catch it with the cone
  • shoot the tennis ball at each other and stop with the foot

  • All players run with ball on foot in a defined field. (Size depends on number of players)
  • The players, with their own ball at foot, must get the other players' ball out of the square.
  • When your ball is out of the square you leave the square and wait.
  • Whoever remains last wins
All players stand on the sideline with ball on foot.
Players walk across with ball while carrying out commands:
  • Quietly run across with ball on foot

  • Leave ball down and walk across 'raise knees, back heels seat'
  • Ball alternately tapping left and right in front of you

  • Take ball under sole good foot
